Conservative American News Digest is a daily "roundup" of news and commentary links of interest to (duh) conservatives. Free (supported by advertising and reader donations). Web edition updated daily; email subscribers receive one (and only one) email message each non-holiday weekday.
CANDi is part of a larger "family" of niche news digests. Other publications of interest might include Second Amendment News Digest (gun issues only), Election News Digest (articles specifically related to voting, elections and candidates) and Rational Review News Digest (the original/"umbrella" publication, aimed at a libertarian audience).

As far as I can recall, it is a digest of the week's events from a conservative perspective, with some of the best columns compiled in a single format.
The last magazine that I subscribed to was National Review.
Considering the fact that my subscription ran out over three years ago, it just might be time to revive my interest in this particular genre of conservative commentary.
Scourge,
You're probably thinking of "Conservative Digest," an older print magazine. I don't know if it is still in print or not.
Conservative American News Digest is an Internet-only publication, and just launched. It's basically an aggregation service ... we keep track of the best conservative sites and summarize/link. Typically, you'll see links to stories on WorldNetDaily, National Review Online, Town Hall, The American Conservative, The American Spectator, Intellectual Conservative, The Weekly Standard and other publications, ranging from the rock-ribbed social conservative to the neocon to the libertarian, with probably the more emphasis on the libertarian-leaning conservative material (we're libertarians -- our flagship publication, now at 400 issues, is a libertarian roundup).
Basically, we browse the sites daily, so you don't have to (unless you feel like it, of course), and highlight "the good stuff." On the news side, we try to cover the high points _of interest_ to conservatives.

Tom Knapp
