Also, as an update, I found what I would say was a fairly strong condemnation of the Johnson murder by C.A.I.R. the Islamic group on their site. Maybe they are afraid of burned Mosques.
This may not please some on this website, but for what it's worth and to be objective and full in our information course, here is what, in part, they said. One can make one's own conclusions:

I read that statement from CAIR when it first came out. Doesn't mean a thing. Mohammad taught that when things are not going well, it is prudent to pull back, wait for more advantageous times. Therefor that statement simply means they are under pressure. Two steps forward, one step back. Islam wends its way forward...gradually...like mould.

I don't recall reading or hearing anything - EVER - about Muslims in the U.S. condemming Al Qaida, September 11th, or the beheadings........ Have I missed it????
Sounds like you are waiting for 'good muslims' to behave like hypocrites. In the US they would have danced their little dance of glee and and passed around the sweets inside the house. In Israel, they did it in the streets.
You still think of them as citizens of the US. They are not. They are citizens of islam, the first wave. Infiltrators. The koran teaches we are 'unclean' kuffars, against whom they may not even brush when they pass us in the street.
The day you hear them say sorry for the pain caused by islamic terrorists, is the same day hell has frozen over and a flock of pigs landed on your fence.
Who cares about condemning...that's just talk...be judged by actions...How about this question...why aren't tens of thousands of young Muslim men in America volunteering for;

Why aren't they doing anything to help "their country" rid the earth of this scourge of Muslim terrorism, if nothing else, to protect themselves and to prove that "all Muslims are not like them", as they are so quick to say.

Oh yes, there are! "good muslims' just have an entirely different view of what 'good' means. To a muslim, the word of the 'prophet' represents goodness. Muhammad is held by islam to be a 'divine and sinless man' incapable of any wrong doing. After all, the 'revelations' he received came straight from the mouth of allah to his ears ( through the arch angel Gabriel,) when it suited his purposes. To rob and rape and murder.
He was nothing but a warlord. And while islam continues to worship the 'prophet' as the final word of allah...every muslim, deep in his/her evil heart, will continue to use the koran as a mandate to destroy not only all of us, Christians, Jews, Hindu, etc...but each other as well, the sunni hate the shia's...who also 'deserve to die'. Islam's excuses for the killings of the last 1400 years are endless. This is an arabic, parasitic culture, that feeds off the riches of others, then moves on, doomed hopefully, to devour even itself. Mohammad unleashed onto the planet a reverence for death. Why? Because he needed large numbers of idiots to go out and sacrifice themselves. To die for him. I have no desire to learn about a "religion" that condones savagery like beheading.
Think of it as learning from history. The biography of muhammad was written by an historian. Knowledge is power. Although the 'believers' say exposure to the written word of the koran assures your automatic converion, (and within 40 days you'll choose to become a muslim,) trust me, it will not happen!
There is nothing to fear from open minded enquiry. The koranic 'verses' are quite meaningless without a knowledge of the motivation of the 'prophet' - why else, do you think, are muslims discouraged from reading about the life of the man? Most muslims don't even know such works exist!
Islam is not a religion - it's the cult of mohammad; a warlord. A parasite.
