BAGHDAD (AFP) - Four US marines were killed in Al-Anbar province, the US military revealed.
"Four US marines assigned to the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force were killed on the 21st of June in the Al-Anbar province conducting security and stability operations," a spokesman said Monday.
Earlier, a witness said he saw four US soldiers shot in the western city of Ramadi Monday. He said he thought the soldiers were killed.
The Marines never reveal details about how their troops are killed.
Al-Anbar province, west of Baghdad, is a hotbed of the insurgency against the US-led occupation of Iraq.
The deaths raised to 620 the number of US troops killed in action since the US-led invasion of Iraq in March 2003, according to an AFP tally based on figures from the Pentagon.
"Earlier, a witness said he saw four US soldiers shot..."
The traitor reporters are changing their names now to "witness"? That way they don't have to answer the question of WHO told them where to set up the cameras and WHY didn't they warn the Americans?
Maricones!
These Marines were almost certainly betrayed by their Iraqi counterparts they were likely patrolling with. No dead Iraqis there. If Fallujah is any guide and, it is, this White House will exclude retaliation. All we can do is hope the Marine commanders bulk up their patrols and leaven them with only a few Iraqis.
Thanks for posting what happens to Islamofascists.
Thanks for your excellent observations, comments and questions as one of our former warriors.
Doesn't the Geneva Convention - and I know Reuters is not a signatory - expressly forbid showing pictures of dead troops?
Reuters would be screaming about Geneva Convention rules if it suited their purposes.
My thoughts also.
Thanks Dave ....Back at ya ! If ya hear of anything more on this ping me please.
Stay safe !
Where do you find this stuff? I went looking for footage of firefights in Iraq and could only find one that accuses the US of war crimes.
If these Marines went out with Iraqis, and those Iraqis are alive, they shouldn't be any more.
If the intel was a setup, those providing the intel should not see another sunrise.
I'm not surprised at anything done or printed by the Islamofascist controlled Reuters.
When I see stuff like this, I wonder if George $orea$$ is a hidden benefactor to Reuters.
Friends of friends and coworkers pretty much ............"unofficially".........:o)
Just spend a bit of time searching the bit torr's would be my suggestion.
Stay safe !
Has this been confirmed by credible sources? My concern is that this might be agitprop to scare the folks at home. Does not seem right that 4 Marines were working solo and were stripped of body armor and weapons before any good guys show up.
The Marine in the upper right of the middle picture is missing his boots. Looting.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Four U.S. Marines were killed Monday in Ramadi, west of Baghdad, a military official for the American-led coalition said.
U.S. Brig. Gen. Mark Kimmitt said a quick reaction force found the Marines' bodies after they failed to report to their commanders at a predetermined time.
"After we've notified the families, I think we're going to be a little more forthcoming on what happened up there," Kimmitt said.
Video of what appeared to be four bodies in military fatigues was shot Monday by The Associated Press Television News. A coalition spokesman had not seen the video but said it was likely footage from the same incident.
There are also drag marks and no blood on the ground.
Ping
Ramadi needs the Fallujah treatment.
Bet the bad guys have reassembled there after mostly being run out of Fallujah.

JUST BREAKING...Four Reuters reporters found dead in Iraq.
[sigh] Rest in peace, brave Leathernecks, and God bless your families.
Were the four Marines a sniper team? Don't sniper teams do some roaming away from the bulk of our troops? That would explain why they weren't recovered quickly.
BTW, thanks for posting the RPG video link. I saw posts weeks ago about it but could never view it. Talk about accurate fire! Two short bursts to take him out.
