This is the differance between the mighty mighty Marine Corps and the obsolete US Army (of course, take the ribbing to heart Army...:) yes, I know, we are part of the Department of Navy, but it is the Mens Department.
The only object of a hooker's interest is money.
Another day, another rock...
From you, in contrast to a polite suggestion.
Typical.
Really your a pretty obnoxious dude running down guys who are over there fighting for your pimp ass.
...and what specific unit did you serve in sea biscuit?
BTW-I wouldn't talk about the way the Army runs prisons. Turns out that the Marines have some explaining to do themsleves link.
You...are...a...moron.
Force rotation...orders...from CENTCOM....and higher....sent the 1st MARDIV home.
You're going to be a perpetual specialist, aren't you? Serving in the E-LIGHT North Cackolackey Nasty Guard.
Sea Duty USS Kittyhawk
L Company, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marines
F Company, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines
CISE, Mogadishu, Somalia
H&S Co, 1st Combat Engineer Battalion.
My ass is not pimp, but I suspect yours has been pimped.
No you're a pimp. A young pimp but a pimp.
I don't think I see anything on that list that qualifies you to discredit Army soldiers who are putting it on the line for your pimp ass.
Certainly not anybody in the 17,000 strong 82nd Abn Division...heck what are there about 200, 000 Marines? That's alot of guys to be so "elite".
Looks like the "jarhead" is making sure of uninteruptable power.
The Grunt is making sure "Junior" don't get kidnapped.
Hehehehehehehe
Marines 70 casualties...Japanese 700 casualties. Same Battle but all over the Pacific it was always that way.
Okinawa 12,000 US, yes Army, Navy and Marines. Japs 120,000.
American Fighting men whatever service proved their worth and they may lose a battle but not a war. Viet Nam was a political loss not a military one.
If Paris had fallen, then all roads leading south would have been in jeopardy and the whole allied line. The morale of the French Army had almost collapsed in the Spring of 1917, so I do not think it would have survived that blow. The British would have had to withdraw their forces and in general would have been in the same position they found themselves in in 1940, except that their forces would have been much stronger so their retreat would have been more orderly. Remember the Russians were already out of the war.
Difference between the Army and the Marines, advanced training.
In the Marines, they teach you to wash your hands after peeing.
In the Army, they teach you not to pee on your hands.
1. Commanders may prescribe the utility uniform as the uniform of the day, in accordance with the below guidance. The uniform is authorized for parades, reviews or other ceremonies, and informal social functions. The utility coat may be removed only for physical training and work details.
2. The utility uniform is a working uniform. Wear of the utility uniform is authorized while commuting to and from work to include all travel aboard DOD-owned/controlled aircraft. The utility uniform may also be worn for brief and appropriate stops off-base during duty hours or while commuting. In addition to emergency/maintenance stops, Marines are allowed to make brief, essential stops off-base during duty hours and while commuting to and from their place of duty, such as:
a. when dropping off/picking up children from daycare centers or school;
b. obtaining gas or other essential driving aids (wiper blades, snow chains, fluids, lights, etc.);
c. picking up/dropping off dry-cleaning;
d. off-base financial institutions; to include automatic teller machines; (ALMAR 107/96)
e. picking up vehicles at repair shops or gas stations;
f. at drive-thru windows where exiting the vehicle is not required; and,
g. at a convenience store or drug store solely for the purchase of emergency childcare or health products (milk, diapers, medicine, etc.).
3. Marines are prohibited from wearing the utility uniform as a liberty uniform off-base or during inappropriate circumstances such as:
a. at restaurants, pizza parlors, bars, lounges, etc.;
b. when dealing with public officials (police, courthouse, attorneys);
c. while attending classes or activities, or conducting business at education facilities;
d. at commercial airports/bus stations for travel or entering pick/drop off passengers;
e. at retail/rental stores, shopping malls, and shops for shopping or paying bills;
f. at grocery stores/supermarkets;
g. at movie theaters, mini-golf, or other similar entertainment/recreational or sporting activities.
Ugh...let it go. It's either a Marine or a Navy corpsman assigned to a Marine Unit.
""A Marine in cammies off base may be in violation of the dress code"
Good logic, I'm sure that the Marine Judge Advocate never gets any work. Yeeeesh you guys are gone.
Btw, it is not an Army cover, so he has to be a Marine or Navy, more than likely a Corpsman, noting the long hair.
Several Marines have confirmed this on this thread and even the original poster ma bell admits he is not Army.
The men aren't different the philosophy is. The Army I served in could take a lesson from the Marine Corps by making every mans primary MOS that of rifleman.
What is YOUR military record, hero? You sure talk the talk, but I doubt you've ever come any where near doing the walk.
JROTC doesn't count.
"...where is your military record..."
About 3 pages back on this thread you inept moron.
