My father died an Army captain (a volunteer soldier) at the age of 22 in Vietnam, March 1969. I find your undermining of our military disgraceful, deplorable and absolutely disgusting. I have never hated anyone before, except YOU, Mr. Moore. You are the lowest form of life, a traitor, and scum of the earth. YOU DO NOT SPEAK FOR THOSE WHO HAVE LOST LOVED ONES DUE TO WARS THAT YOU DEEM WRONG. My mother and I think you are a profiteering b*%#&*$d and fraud.
I'm deeply sorry for your loss of your father. With the exception of the refugees from communism which we acquired, Michael Moore and his ilk can't help themselves from undermining our efforts overseas and gaining any benefit, just tears. I really appreciate your letter. Adios
Whether he understands it or not, he is describing the people who buy his books, attend his lectures, and pay to see his "documentaries". However, he will discover to his chagrin, that many more "dumbest" people are out there, in Europe and Asia, and elsewhere. They are those who are gullible enough and foolish enough to waste their money and time on Michael Moore and his asinine rantings.
Micheal Moore, Al Gore, NYT, Bill Clinton. They can all form a circle jerk and go Leahy themselves and ride out on the donkey they rode in on.

So how long will it take for the media to pull some smuck off the street who claims he was going to vote for Bush but after seeing this movie he is voting for Kerry ?

One other thing about Brooks' correction -- it kind of negates his entire previous column, which was about how Clinton was able to win the evangelical vote!
Brooks got it all right.

I was thinking that about Ted Rall, too. When Pat Tillman was killed in action in Afghanistan and he became a legend overnight, it was like Rall's head was going to explode if he didn't strike a loud blow for the case that Tillman wasn't a hero. So through his horribly drawn comic strip, Rall depicted Tillman into a dumb jock who gave up his multimillion dollar salary so he could "get to kill Arabs."
Only people who think that Americans are by-and-large loathsome creatures could do the things Moore and Rall do. The problem is, they are Americans too.
As bad as Rall is, Moore is worse. He seems to feel like if he can travel the world and apologize for being an American enough, it will forgive him for being born here.
And all that money he's making isn't going to make him happy because he either feels guilty about having made it, or he has to pretend that he is.

Please, please! Do not slur the memory of John Candy by mentioning his name in the same sentance as Michael Moore. And as for Mr. Farley, he may have been a drunken loser, but he never went around giving aid and comfort to our enemies.
Michael Moore is a a plague, and the last time I made a remark about him the mods took it down. But I will say this, he is an evil, evil man, and I wish him nothing but ill.
My goodness, at least Noam Chomsky is a REAL intellectual.
I think Micheal Moore and Ted Rall are the two worst Americans alive today, the world will be a better place upon their passing.
