Moore sucks.
You know, I wish I had something a bit more profound to say on the topic, but I don't. The guy distorted the truth & made money on a film based upon the brutal murders of children & Hollywood gave him an Oscar.
Now, he lies about our country, our President, and says we got what we deserved on 9-11-01.
Mr. Moore, thank you. Your nasty little movie is going to get Bush reelected. The American public has had about enough of the bile your ilk puts out.

Some great cartoons! Thanks for posting them.
Michael Ramirez is my favorite political cartoonist!
Unfortunately he works for the Left Angeles Times which I canceled. I have to catch him online.

Here's an interesting letter to the editor from one of the throwaway supplements to my local Sunday comic strip publication: (Sender's name omitted.)
"Moore's critics not all off-base Editor -- Jonathan Curiel's profile of Michael Moore ("Fahrenheit Rising," Insight section, June 20) breathed some timid reservations about Moore, a beleaguered dissident with only wealth, prestige and fawning celebs for comfort.
I wish, though, that Curiel did not assume that Moore's critics are mostly "conservatives who don't like his message." I can't stand President Bush. You don't have to be a Bush supporter to loathe hysterical, bombastic, phony agit-prop.
Moore owes his popularity to our increased inability to distinguish between entertainment and exposition.
My friends claim, in Moore's defense, that "he makes you think." But that's exactly what he doesn't do.
In "Bowling for Columbine," an interview with a smiling Lockheed Martin official cut away to footage of people being bombed. We are suitably awed, as though this is some kind of insight, when actually Moore has only shown that wars kill people.
This kind of visual argument has always been a key propaganda tool, precisely because it stops people thinking while making them feel involved."

If you really want to get aggravated, go to the IMDB message board for this film. The level of hatred for Bush is beyond anything I could ever imagine in my lifetime.

Re yourpost #14 - That was interesting. I noticed the NYT Frank Rich wrote the following in his recent hit piece on US AG Ashcroft:
[....]This month Mr. Bradbury, now 83, complained that Michael Moore had appropriated the title of "Fahrenheit 451," his classic novel about book-burning totalitarianism, without permission. Mr. Moore hijacked the title because he knows it elicits fear, and his right-wing radio critics liken him to Goebbels because of his willingness to manipulate facts to whip up an audience accordingly. Sometimes they have a case.[....]

'americasheartandsoul.com' ... which reminds me, Summer, you would think conscious media folks would realize what is actually at stake this year, with the war on terrorism and Islamism ... since they will be the first controlled once we fail to win the war, and I do not believe the dnc has the mind to fight and win and we know the UN they love to take over our sovereignty doesn't.

Even the hardened liberals I work with won't even talk about this film. Everyone who like to lie to themselves that they are "moderate" or "reasonable" wants to distance themselves from the likes of MMoore and this trash.

the IMDB message board for this film
I don't know what is being posted now on that board, but I noticed a very pro-FL and pro-Jeb comment by someone in Orlando prior to the film opening. The poster basically said that comments by Moore against Gov Bush, and about Disney getting tax breaks from FL, were false. I think that's the very first post on that board for this film.

I have been to 1 movie in the last 15 years. And, F911 sure wasn't it!
I did a little research and discovered that 685 is the temperature at which lard burns. Olive oil burns at a little over 600 degrees. I figured the lard was appropriate. My husband was tickled with the information he made this poster just to surprise me. (Sweet guy, huh?)

That's an interesting link about a new movie, but they need to update this:
Q: When will Michael Moore Hates America be in theaters?
A: Were feverishly filming, writing and editing as we go along. Were shooting for a theatrical release at the same time Moores next film Fahrenheit 911 comes out.

Lard burns at such a high temperature that is is the preferred fat for deep-frying turkeys. Guess that is a useful cooking tip.

says we got what we deserved on 9-11-01.
His public, anti-American comments abroad have also been terrible, just terrible, for a time when our nation is at war. Would he really enjoy living in any number of other countries on this planet, such as Third World or Communist countries? I somehow don't think he would like it. Maybe he needs to reconsider his constantly negative thoughts about this country. And, lose some weight for health reasons!!!
