Yes, the silence of Muslims living in America is almost deafening. Kind of makes the Amish look like a bunch of party animals, by comparison! (No offense meant to the peaceful and decent Amish community)

It's a shame that even though this piece is nearly 2 years old, nothing has changed. Well, other than the dims have politicized the War and the lib media has done their best to bring our country to it's knees..........Well, and other than our Country has spent the blood of it's youth and much of our treasure to help bring millions of these sand-bugs to freedom.
Although it may have been disappointing not to have heard from them a couple of years ago, it is absolutely telling that after all that we have done, they still remain silent.
Anyway, I just keep hoping and praying that president Bush will win and that after the election, many, many changes will take place.
I lost some long and dear friends who were LIEberals or at the very least squish-moderates...because they could not come to grips with what had happened, or what is required not only of US, but of the Arabs here as well.
I have said my good-byes to them and not looked back...we as a country MUST do the same to all who are doing their DAMNDEST to bring us to our knees!
Which means no longer tolerating the crazy sister...the in-laws that are screaming leftists...the parents who are still mewling infants of the 60's...the long-time buddies that are as crazed as Dean or Moore...or the politicians!
I don't care if he/she has an (R) after their name...if their PRIMARY function is NOT the security of the US, without trampling on the rights of those of us who ARE NOT the threat...then they need to go! No more free ride for the RINOs or the Socialists!

Here's the thing... Timothy McVeigh professed to be a Christian...
If we had thousands of Timothy McVeighs in this country, doing what Timothy McVeigh did, or homicide bombing people, or cutting people's heads off... you can bet your sweet bippy that the REAL Christian community would be standing on the highest mountains denouncing him, his cohorts, and their actions, as loud and as often and as publically as was humanly possible.
Why isn't the American Muslim community doing the same thing?? Can ANYONE in this country (or in the world) answer this question??

Same here. I have said before that the silent ones are just as guilty as the fanatical ones. If 1% of the billion muslims is fanatical, it still leaves well over 900 million "good ones" to sort it out. Instead, they do nothing. That is why I have little problem with nuking an arab country. My only concern is the fallout on Israel.
