Does that about sum up your postition, John?

I think he actually harms himself with that statement. What he is REALLY saying now is, "even though a human fetus is a living human being, I still support the murder of this human being, for any reason, at the mother's discretion".

IMO, this is why all the pro-abortion people refuse to acknowledge that a "fetus" is living, thinking, feeling, etc. I've often wondered, why don't they just admit it - say, "abortion IS the taking of a living human's life - but it's legal and it's the mother's option." But we all know why they won't admit it - to do so would prove that we were right all along - that they condone murder - which is exactly what John Kerry is saying with his statement.

That's like saying you wouldn't personally own a slave but you support someone elses right to have one if they wanted.

Maybe Kerry should run for the presidency there, seems as if one is as double-minded as the other.
