A DAY IN THE LIFE PRESIDENT BUSH (PHOTOS): 7.7.05

Senatorial blockage of his judicial nominees becoming judges and justices was the focus of President Bush's day. He also attended a fundraiser; both events were in the state recently evacuated by a certain United States Senator: North Carolina. He addressed the press and took reporters' questions at Raleigh Durham Airport.

He nominated former Westinghouse executive Francis J. Harvey to become Army secretary, to replace Thomas E. White.

In the War on Terror, he named nine more Guantanamo prisoners eligible to be tried by a U.S. military tribunal, citing a 'reason to believe' they were al Qaeda members or involved in terrorism against the United States.

Don't worry. I'll stay as far away from Ted Kennedy as possible...............and it has NOTHING to do with water.

Good luck on young homeschool girl's certification!

Let me translate:

We've got better vision = We can see years into the future of how we can TAKE YOUR MONEY FROM YOU.

We've got better ideas = Better than the President's crazy ideas of establishing democracy in the ME.

We've got real plans = Other than those crazy plans Bush had about attacking 2 countries - unilaterally.

We've got a better sense of what's happening to America = We can see the vast right-wing conspiracy taking over America and we intend to stop it before they rob us of more power.

And we've got better hair = Well .. we really have better hairdressers .. Bush/Cheney don't need any.

And that's the truuuuuuttthththhhh

I forgot a line break or five in my last post so I'm reposting correctly.........

***What a dream job! I always wanted to be a lifeguard.***

In January she begins training for her lifeguard certification...so she can actually save someone rather than watch.

***My favorite place in all the world to be was under water. (Oh, boy, is that asking for a comment!)***

Um.............you might want to stay away from Ted Kennedy, chickee.

Doesn't matter to the media though...

Let's review the Washington-New York political media's darlings of the last four presidential campaigns: 1992 and 1996, Bill Clinton (with Perot thrown in to help ensure Clinton victories); 2000, John McCain; ever since 2000, John Edwards. Doesn't say much for the DC-NY political media's judgement, does it?!!

My new tagline for each of my posts until election day (won't fit in available tagline space): A vote for Kerry-Edwards is a vote for Osama bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, Jacques Chirac, the UN, and Hollyweirdos like Michael Moore. A vote not cast, or a vote cast for a minority party, is a vote for Kerry-Edwards.

**Perhaps we should ask all our liberal friends (who seem to think that prettiness is actually an important quality in a presidential election) if they want a swimsuit competition before November........**

That would incur time off by Kerry to have pectoral & calf enhancements done - best let him know soon so he can recover as quickly as he did with his shoulder surgery.

LOL! Boy being the operative word. Edwards looks as immature as he acts.

Appearance *does* matter. The most famous example is when Nixon showed up for a debate with JFK sweating and with 5 o'clock shadow.
Most often, the tallest candidate wins. Certainly, the teeny ones (like Dukakis) have had problems almost impossible to overcome.

Being the most attractive candidate is probably worth 3-4% of the vote. W got his share for being cuter than algore. I think he's got the edge over Kerry this time, too.

If Edwards looks like he'll get the "cute" vote from Cheney, they can send out Rummy. He's got quite a following, even in Liberal circles.

Don't forget SEXY .. LOL!

Thanks for these great pictures Gretchen .. I especially loved the ones with the lemonade. That is so like our President .. and the expression on the kids faces was just priceless.

Just wait until this neighborhood gets through spreading the word about the President's visit .. AND .. HE PAID FOR HIS LEMONADE .. something Hillary was not good at.

A vote not cast, or a vote cast for a minority party, is a vote for Kerry-Edwards.

Not necessarily so. It depends on where that vote comes from. I have encouraged many of my Liberal friends to either vote for Nader or to stay home.

Fair enough. I'll modify my tagline accordingly.

Says it for me and thee! I hope President Bush saw it.

When Bush visited a school in Concord, I held up a sign w/Love ya, W on it and he waved, then as his car went by, he looked out the back of it and waved again. I'm still glowing from that!

I am already in overload with those two wealthy Senators
with egos bigger than any other part of them.

Edward, a Clinton clone, sounding like one of those schlock TV preachers gets the people worked up just like they do and are sucked in to their cr--

Kerry & Edwards are like Hitler in 1938 Germany mesmerizing
the crowds. Because a large part of the population regardless of education have no clue to history or world affairs are sucked into their lies.
