If any of you missed it, Sen. Zell Miller just came up with one of the great lines so far in the campaign. He and Sean Hannity were discussing balancing of the ticket. Miller said that what Kerry did to balance the ticket was that "Kerry chose a smiley face to go along with his frowny face."
God bless Senator Miller. He is putting his country above his party. He is perhaps the last honest Democrat.

Thank you! I won't be able to see the news for a while and that really made me laugh.
Maybe ads can be run with the tune "Put on a Happy Face" and showing Edwards smiling while bad guys are lurking in the background, destroying the stage that he's on.

Yesterday, my 4 year old niece saw Kerry on tv and blurted out:
"Ewww. that man looks just like those mean ol' trees in the Wizard of OZ that were throwing apples at Dorothy and Toto"!
I cracked up and said, yes, darling, he really does, doesn't he.

Wait a minute.... I am a Democrat and I am honest.
I am voting for Bush of course because he is the best man for the country...

God I'm going to miss this man. I wish he was going to be around for another term. I did write to his office a couple of times begging him to see the light and change party affiliation. Now I believe it's so much more fun coming from the mouth of a democrat.

Get out da Johns!

The demorat talking point of the day is that Edwards has at least as much foreign policy experience as W had in 2000. I am amazed no one has provided the obvious rejoinder to Edwards:
Senator, I know George W. Bush. He is a friend of mine. Senator, YOU ARE NO GEORGE BUSH!

"Ewww. that man looks just like those mean ol' trees in the Wizard of OZ that were throwing apples at Dorothy and Toto"! That's funny, because I have heard him compared to Treebeard from the Lord of the Rings. The ones in Oz must have been related.

Zell is hysterical... sounds like something my Uncle Merle would say... hahahahahahahahahahaha!!

Unfortunately, Hannity is tape-delayed on KSFO here in the BayArea. So it's always difficult to listen to Sean while trying to watch Brit at the same time.

I'm glad you are on the right side. Perhaps I should have said that Zell might be the last honest elected Democrat.
