Something like 70% of Americans want illegal immigration stopped cold. After 9/11, Bush had a golden opportunity to shut down the borders. Instead, he proposed an amnesty program to please corporate fat cats who rely on the cheap labor illegal aliens provide. The Republican and Democratic parties have colluded to keep the Border Patrol and the INS underfunded. Now we have 15 million illegals pigging out on social programs and keeping our tax rates artificially high. But Bush doesn't give two craps about his conservative supporters. To him, we are just a bunch of nitwits and yokels who can be distracted by another orange alert. Well, come November, Bush is going to join the unemployed Americans who have been displaced by the illegal aliens he has helped sneak into this country.
These men are laying their lives on the line to keep us safe.

especially our northern borders with Canada where most of the 9/11 terrorists came from. It would have been a start in the right direction. And the Army could have been used, the Posse Comitatus would not have applied in this case since we were at WAR with terrorists and in a state of emergency.
And their govt. union does not say one bad word about such democrats in the mass media as Joe Baca(D-CA) who intiated the protest to stop the sweeps.

I've just been listening to Shaun Moran, an agent with the Border Patrol talk to Roger Hedgecock on his San Diego show (AM600, streaming audio available at the link). Moran says the Border Patrol has informed him and all agents that, contrary to policy up to now, there will be no more paid media appearances. Moran has been the official spokesman for the union representing Border Agents, and has made many paid appearances to inform the public in that capacity, most recently in regard to the illegal alien sweeps that the Border Patrol has recently made. Moran says he's sure this new policy is retaliation for the heat and embarrassment that's been generated as a result of these sweeps and the consequent banning of same by the DHS after the illegal alien advocacy groups started screaming about it. Moran says the public is entitled to the truth and that his union is going to make sure that they get it, despite this new policy. Moran says that, if necessary, his union will pay for his appearances (or Moran will do as he did today and make them while on vacation, before work, etc.) just to make sure the word gets out. i ask dane: if you can reason that people of an ethnic group are diverse.. some bad and some good, why cant you see that same diversity amongst ethnic groups? some are good and some are bad. or better put perhaps.. some are better than others and some are worse than others.
