These people aren't nearly as interested in stem cell research as they are in the money that will flow to and through abortionists if stem cell research is allowed without limitation. As always, follow the money.
Do democrats think we'll forget that Ron Jr is a liberal and decide to vote for Kerry?

The Dims have a lackluster candidate. He has no charm, no personality, no record of legislative accomplishment and no executive experience. His boy-wonder sidekick has the same toothy grin that Jimmah Carter tortured us with and no relevant experience. The only card they have to play is hatred.
From what I understand, the private sector is not funding embryonic stem cell research because it is so unstable. It's the adult stem cell reserach that is promising and that IS attracting private money.
Even though the Dems will be crowing about this for weeks m(or longer - they are pretty anal-retentive), the fact is that nobody listens to any of the speeches at a political convention with the exception of about 3. People listen to the keynote address, the nominating speech and the acceptance speech. If you listen to the overwhelmiong background noise during all of the other speeches, you know that no one is listening. Also, you will notice that many of the speakers speak VERY loudly as if trying to scream "SHUT UP!!!! I'm talking, here!!"
It doesn't work, no one is listening. At either political convention. While Zell Miller is aDem, he is also a conservative Dem and a man of principle. His speaking at the Republican convention is no greater a coup than Reagan's speaking to the Dem convention. The likelihood is that few will actually hear either speech.
Not to mention that John Kerry is just an average guy like you and me......if you can forget his billion dollar worth.
This is not going to hurt Dubya or tarnish Ronald Reagan's legacy.
This is just more proof that the 'Rats have lost their minds. Giving this knucklehead a prime time speaking slot???? What are they thinking??
Zell Miller is a sitting US Senator. Ron Reagan is a disgruntled child of a recently deceased legendary Republican President. There's no comparison.

There is a reason why he has been dubbed "Ron the Lesser." From an article I read about his views, he attacks conservatives for reducing embryonic stem cell research to "babykilling". He characterizes the living being involved as "a mass of a couple hundred undifferentiated cells". Apparently the idea of this being having been created in the image of God, with a soul,needing protection from attack, does not enter into his "thinking." Like so many others, his thought process is not that highly developed.
