Bumper stickers call Kerry 'bin Laden's man'
Lexington Herald-Leader ^

Posted on 07/17/2004 3:46:23 PM PDT by Linux4Life

A bumper sticker being circulated in Louisville that reads "Kerry is bin Laden's Man/Bush is Mine" was applauded by a Republican leader yesterday but decried by Democrats.

Jack Richardson IV, chairman of the Jefferson County GOP, said he didn't know the bumper sticker's origins, but agreed with its message.

"If bin Laden could vote based on Kerry's voting record in the Senate -- where he has decimated our national security and defense -- is there anybody that can honestly say bin Laden wouldn't prefer Kerry over Bush? Of course he would," Richardson said in a telephone interview.

A handful of demonstrators gathered yesterday afternoon outside the Jefferson County GOP headquarters to protest the sticker.

ANYONE KNOW WHERE I COULD FIND THIS BUMPERSTICKER?

Well, this is not a bumper sticker, but I wish people would make signs like this one:

Also, I kind of like my latest sig line -- it's not specifically "offensive" towards Kerry, yet I think, it gets the message across.

You may want to try this site, over 40 designs available in both magnetic bumper stickers as well as vinyl. The size is 3.5" x 10".

I saw a bumper sticker today that said "Bush gives me gas pains" (signed Kerry 2004). Very stupid, of course. It was on a lamp post, and wasn't stuck all the way on, a little corner was unstuck. So I pulled it down and put it in the trash. A little mini-freep. I wouldn't have done that years ago, free speech and all that. But no more Ms. Nicelady for me!

If you put it on your car, the chances are very good that an angry leftist will do damage to your car if you leave it parked somewhere. I have several magnetic signs on my car that I take off when I park. The latest is:

NEWS BULLETIN: AL QAEDA
SUPPORTS KERRY (duh)

If alive, I am sure bin Laden will be gratified by a Kerry victory. So would many of his supporters, who likely would be dancing in the streets of certain Arab cities.

Having said that, I think these bumper stickers will disgust many swing voters.

I hate to say this, but. This year, for the first time ever, I'm concerned about putting a political bumper sticker on my car.

The demented liberals are sicker than they have ever been. I really fear they may trash my car just because of a bumper sticker.

That's really sick, isn't it?

I put my Bush/Cheney on the inside back window with tape. So far no problems but have gotten good feedback. Liberals are all bark no bite!

Why not make your own? I plan to.

Just design the wording using Word or whatever, print it out, then spray it with some polyurethane sealant.

The trick is to place a Bush bumper sticker on a know Rats car. (of course we would never do that)

So plaster pro-Bush stickers over a liberal sticker on liberal cars. Two birds with one stone.

Another freep.......
Back during the demo primaries there were DEAN stickers all over the ATM machine that I always went to.....so I happened to have a black marker in my car and I wrote "LOSER" across all of them. My 10yr old was in the car at the time and sssshhhh I felt bad but.....about a month later my husband and my son went to that same ATM and he commented to my son, OH I HOPE YOUR MOM DOESN'T SEE THESE STICKERS. My little one laughed and said DAD, she has, mom is the one that wrote LOSER across them. My husband came home and said... I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN!!!!!!.....

I live in Georgia, so the kook-to-republican ratio isn't very high.

The few Kerry or leftist stickers I see on cars are usually on some piece of crap rust bucket, that usually have a rainbow sticker, or "hate is not a family value" sticker on it too.

I've noticed the few clunkers with union and kerry stickers on them here too. If the unions really represented the employees as well as they say, you would think they would drive a bit better than a rusted out 78 Monte Carlo?

I'm pretty sure those are all for sale (plus S&H) and will ship within days as long as they're in stock.

So far, I haven't found any good brick-and-mortar stores locally with political stickers that good.

Hey, integrity also means calling a spade a spade.

I believe that bumper sticker slogan has a basis in fact - just look at Kerry's voting record and his statements on the campaign trail.

Personally, as a "lifeling conservative, and Bush supporter in 2000", I feel the bumper stickers are pretty f'n funny.

ok, here's a few "ideas" for you:

Flipper is a two-faced liar whose only predictable behavior is his inability to publicly pick a clear stance on any issue of importance and stick to it.

Flipper has a disgustingly high absentee record in the Senate.

In those votes he did bother to cast, Flipper consistently voted to hamper and weaken the defensive and intelligence-gathering resources and manpower of the United States.

Flipper has never held a real job, where success and failure are measured in concrete units of mission accomplishment, product quality, and profits vs. losses.

Flipper got out of a 14-month tour of duty after only FOUR MONTHS in Vietnam by wailing about three tiny scratches, at least one of which cannot be decisively defined as having occurred under or as a result of enemy fire. From this, he has pontificated at length on his "record" as a "combat veteran"

Flipper also has pontificated at great length about his command qualities, referring back once again to his abbreviated tour of duty in Vietnam. Interestingly enough, just about everyone who served with him over there considers him a grade-A putz who cannot be trusted with command duties.

How about, simply: "Flipper Sucks Ass"?
