Western NY Chapter Family Picnic

A shelter has been reserved for September 4th (saturday, about noon) at Darien Lake State Park. Camping sites are available if you would like to make it a weekend event for yourselves. These links will help with travel info.

We hope as many people from throughout the area can attend!

There is a month and a half lead time on this, so ya'll have plenty of notice!

Please bring a dish to pass, your beverages, and whatever you want to grill, If you don't have a portable grill, room will be made for you on ours!

This will be a great chance to meet one another, have some fun, and enjoy the last weekend before the kids go back to school!

We are looking for help with planning activities and pinging fellow FReepers around the area.

If you plan to attend the picnic, please bump this thread and then FReepmail me with the number of people you plan to bring and I will put you on the picnic update ping list!

I'll check with the park to see if pets are allowed, but I think so.

Website says as long as on a less than 6' leash, but not permitted in a day area, whatever that means.

Is probably where the picnic will be held, knowing my luck.
