At least Amber didn't abort those two precious children of hers.

I just hope that her testimony helps nail Peterson. After that, hopefully she can (and will) fade back into obscurity.

As for Larry Flint, who yanked his chain? That POS needs to find a rock to crawl back under.

Would her father be dumb enough to write a letter like that and would her attorneys not have known? If this is true; Amber has got one fact wrong. While it is admirable that she chose to have her children; they do need a father; prefrably one that is married to their mother and lives with them.

I was listening to Scott's interviews with Jodi Hernandez and Ted Rowlands. It's almost painful listening to the weenie little voice of Scott speaking on those tapes.

While he comes off as a mild-mannered, calm guy, there is commentary surrounding the tapes in which they tell the viewer that Scott was very precise, and very domineering, in his instructions to the media people as to how his interviews were to be used. For example, he was adamant that they not be shown until after 6 p.m. Maybe the Hollywood talent scout wouldn't be able to get to a TV till after 6.

The reports of his media savvy belie the innocent, washed-out appearance he cultivated in the interviews. It appears to me that he is actually very controlling. This tells me that he is also very anxious. I've never seen an ultra-controlling person who didn't also appear to be very anxious.

One thing I wish the DA would get to is the presentation to the jury of that sign Scott made in early January, 2003, for the volunteers. In it, he refers to having "talked" to Laci, and to having "felt she could hear me". It was so obvious that he was speaking of the dead. Then to cap it off, he couldn't just sign it "Scott Peterson". He puts endless miles of distance between him and Laci by signing it, "Laci's Husband".

It's like he wanted to disappear right after Laci "disappeared". He wanted to be invisible. One has to wonder why.

After she was gone, he was in complete control: only he could bring her body back. HE was the only person on earth who really knew what everyone wanted to know: where she was. She was 100% his possession. He could now stop being anxious, knowing that it was an impossibility for her to ever have any experience that didn't involve him. Or, for that matter, to ever have any experience at all, period.

I think once she was gone, all his anger towards her dissolved, and she became some sort of sacred symbol, something he had all to himself, which no one else could ever know about or touch. I don't think he ever wished she were still alive, though.

All this control, all this peace he was feeling, all dissolved when the first of the 2 bodies was found on shore. Which, IMO, is why he never showed the slightest intention of returning north to be involved in the recovery of the bodies. Suddenly the bodies were no longer a sacred shrine--they were frightening, deadly objects which could destroy him, and he wanted to get as far as he could away from them.

"But you can choose to remain a virgin until you're married, and then never be asked."

As my mother used to tell me, guys think, "Why buy the cow if you can milk it through the fence?" Men are putting off marriage because there are more and more idiots like Amber Frey.

She might not be very moral in who she sleeps with but not killing her children even though they might have been inconvenient would make you think she's not a killer.

Are you saying that the men are not complicit in this sort of behavior?

Scott Peterson didn't put off marriage. But when he had a decent wife, apparently that wasn't good enough for him.

I just see some who would prefer that all evidence of past sexual behavior be wiped out. You guys be careful what you wish for...certain body parts might start falling off.

Good point.

She is what she is, but it just so happens that when you want to find out secrets about an unsavory guy like Scott Peterson, you have to go to his intimate associates who usually are... ta-da!... unsavory. Birds of a feather flock together.

Her so-called morals are not the question here. The question is what Scott Peterson did or didn't do.

Look at the tiny minds who have been posting on this thread b/f you made your post. They can't keep their eyes on the ball. That's how the media makes fools of so many people: they bring in so much background noise, and the more weakminded get distracted.

The question is: did Scott Peterson kill his wife and baby, or not?

Ewwwww!!!

Well, supposedly the first few posters on here are seasoned freepers. Makes me wonder why on earth they'd want to play into the hands of that big-nosed, DEMOCRAT, Clinton-lover, Geragos, by forgetting what this trial is about and just going over old, old, old ground regarding Amber's life.

Who the heck CARES about Amber's life, other than whether the man she slept with in Dec. 2002 is a MURDERER?

I'm sure Larry Flynt thinks every woman is a prostitute--it's just that he hasn't figured out how to turn them all out yet. What a slimebucket.

Amber's a whore, plain and simple.

Has no bearing on whether Scott murdered his wife and baby.

Her private life is obviously a mess, but I suspect the reason so many are calling her a prostitute is because she is a massage therapist. Many people associate m.t.s with the "massage parlors" which is a whole different kind of thing. When this story first broke, a lot of people made that particular leap--but so far as I've been able to find out, I think she was legit.

Yes it does.

Scotts number one motive for killing his wife was to be with Amber. He told her his wife was "dead", remember?

Geragos wants the Jury to believe that Amber was just a slut who wasn't worthy enough to "kill" for. Keep that in mind.

I think we have to get off the mindset of having PROOF that this guy Snott did the dirty deed. Anyone in the middle of the night, under the protection of darkness and the fact they are alone with the victim, can carry out a killing so that nobody is a witness. Does this mean the perfect crime has been committed or that Snott is going to walk ? Because of the fact he and Laci were always alone, one has to discount the fact that no direct proof of a homicide exists, so one has to move on as to motive and who benefits from such an act. Just because nobody saw him do it or dump off the body, his whole personality comes into play. Here Amber has stepped forward to say this creep has extensively lied to her and is probably the murderer since he has the most to gain from Laci's death, HER ! Up until now the cops can only theorize about most things but here with Amber you have a motive and proof this guy wrote off Laci long ago as he made all these plans with Amber and after affirming those plans he went out and bought a boat, the very day he told Amber about their future. The rest of the case from here are Snott's lies to the media and the cops, his inability to go out and search for her (since he knew where the body was) and the final act was when the body waa identified and Snott was headed for the border after her body had been identified, no acts of grief here. Whether it's the World Trade Center disaster or any missing persons case, you see relatives and loved ones always holding out hope until the very end then upon proof of the demise of their loved one, there is devastation because there no longer is any hope . We certainly saw this in Laci's parents but what did we see in Snott ? This is what the jury has to focus on and not all this trivia MG is bringing up in order to distract the jury's thinking and to create doubt.

Larry, Larry, I'm sorry I called you a prostitute (even though I think most of you media types are... oh never mind)!!

I have unjustly called Larry King a prostitute!

I read "Larry King" where it said "Larry Flynt". Sorry, Larry King! You are not a prostitute! (Well, except MAYBE in some sort of metaphorical sense...)

Okay, so who is this other Larry? Wonder if HE'S a prostitute? Does he have high morals? Is he the heir presumptive to Bill Bennett as number one arbiter of America's moral IQ?

Yes, father would. He is known for speaking out...On the internet forums people savage Amber...He is simply going to cause more gossip and condemnation from internet and media "judges"....

I am interested in Amber because of her relationship to Scott. Her life , past, morals, have no interest except as they relate to this case....She isn't on trial.

She can vouch it's her voice on the wiretap recordings with Scott...Perhaps she really doesn't have anything of value to add except to verify Scott's behavior toward her..before and after Laci's disappearance.

I found his interviews to be both controlling and calculated.
And when he decided to start weeping his fake tears, I think he convinced himself that he pulled it off.
Made me sick.
