Dad has nothing to do with this case ..I understand frustration over the Amber bashing. Any media person loves a story so he gets air time or his statements get written about...Gossip fodder.

A man sows his wild oats and people tend to say "he's just being a man"...A female does this and she is a slut ??? why the difference since both have the same needs

I was just watching the Sawyer interview again.
In her first clip of him "crying" I could not get over how fake he was. He was literally slobbering and slurping his tears, IMO to make himself seem distraught.
I had a hard time making out what he was saying thru all of that spit....

Yes, I think he was probably angry at Laci about a lot of things. That part about Christmas Eve was just icing on the cake.

But Sharon had asked her TEN TIMES to commit to her and Scott coming over--on Christmas Eve, for heaven's sake! I am guessing that Laci wasn't against going to her MOTHER'S on Christmas Eve, but for some reason she couldn't get Scott to accompany her. They may have gone round and round about this, and then when Laci "declared victory" by telling Sharon they'd be there, Scott realized that if he was going to "win" in the end--if he was going to have his way, that is, with them NOT going to Sharon's on Christmas Eve--then he'd have to get up and DO what he'd been putting off.

That's right! That's the beauty of Amber-bashing: the more Geragos bashes Amber, the worse it reflects on HIS client, who was "wanting to spend his life with her."

If Amber's a slut, so is Scott.

I fear this week we will hear tedious testimony of what was not found...;(

We know Geragos is going to pick at Amber, that is, he is going to scoff at her cluelessness in not figuring out Scott was married.

"Miss Frey, the man gave you only his cell number, you had never been to his home, he was unavailable for holidays... and you still thought he was UNMARRIED??"

Here's what I WISH Amber would say in return: "Oh, Mr. Geragos, you know how it is, I'm sure YOU'VE convinced a woman YOU were unmarried before!"

(I don't think it's gonna happen that way, though...)

Sheesh, I hope that sort of thing will just be confined to Geragos' finishing of his cross of Hendee and Coyle. I hope after that the state will AT LEAST get around to introducing that SIGN Scott hung up at the volunteer center. That sign practically screams, "I'm guilty!!"

HI DA. I've thought that Scott might have taped those interviews himself, played them for his lawyer (since all the reporters made such a big thing about no lawyer being present), just in case something really needed to be stopped.....thus, the need for time delay to 6:00pm.

Scooter needed to hot foot it to McAllister, who so damn mad about his doing these in the first place, he left the case originally, feeling he couldn't control Scooter.

"I was just watching the Sawyer interview again."

Jackie, can you give me the link to that? I have tried to find it but no luck.

I think we have to get off the mindset of having PROOF that this guy Snott did the dirty deed. Anyone in the middle of the night, under the protection of darkness and the fact they are alone with the victim, can carry out a killing so that nobody is a witness. Does this mean the perfect crime has been committed or that Snott is going to walk ? Because of the fact he and Laci were always alone, one has to discount the fact that no direct proof of a homicide exists, so one has to move on as to motive and who benefits from such an act. Just because nobody saw him do it or dump off the body, his whole personality comes into play.

Very nicely done, S4J. A tip of the hat to you.

Yes, there will be more to show Scott did it, but never underestimate the forest for the trees logic.

Now there's an idea! He wanted to make sure he was at home to tape them? I agree that's possible, but RR, still, you can set your VCR to start taping at a certain time... and Scott in particular knew there wouldn't be any annoying wife or child there to fool with the VCR/TV, and mess up his settings! (Even I know how to set it to tape while I'm away.)

Maybe he never bothered to look up and see how to set a time for the VCR to start recording, and so he'd have to be at home in order to tape them. It's definitely a possibility! And I think we can put down as a "definite", whether or not he wanted to make sure and have copies of his interviews: definitely yes.

Hey, but there's one more thing I just thought of: Scott made Rowlands agree to that thing about not before 6 p.m. Then Rowlands' station used just a small clip of Scott, with a voiceover, as a preview, and aired it at noon one day. Scott called Rowlands indignantly, and accused him of going back on the agreement.

That noon showing was an extra--not a rescheduling of the interview's airing. Even if he did want to be home to tape the whole interview, why would he have been upset about the noon preview??

No DA, I mean he taped them while they were being done, then took them to his lawyer, prior to the 6:00 airing, in order to prevent anything that might possibly be bad airing, just as a safeguard. So, as soon as he finished with the reporter, he took his own tape, went to McAllister, reviewed it just in case before 6:00PM

PS: If you go to that ABC site where Ted Rowlands' interviews of Scott are available, you can hear Rowlands talking about Scott and the conditions he put on the interview, and that's where Ted R. says Scott called him up mad b/c a clip was shown earlier than 6 p.m.

IamHD posted a link to that site a while back. If you want to go there and hear the Rowlands interview, I'll be glad to dig up that post.

Notice all the new trolls today?????? Yeah, big surprise. The Defense is getting nervous now. Peterson's lying mug is going to be right there in the Juries face, followed likely by wiretap evidence and Amber's testimony and then I'm sure the "Experts" will be called. The trolls here need not expect any acknowledgment from me!!
