Who else had missing documents? Someone took some FBI documents home and his house was robbed and boxes were missing?? I can't remember who it was though.

Here is another thought I have. Why would Berger do this, at great personal and professional risk?
My answer is that someone MADE him do it. Someone who has dirt on Berger.
This suggests he thought that base was somehow covered. Perhaps a friendly was going to lose the tape, but then someone may have precluded the action.
I don't believe for a moment he didn't premeditatively cover what could only reasonably have been considered the vulnerabilities of such an action.
Some guys who were able to lose the tapes of Vince leaving the White House "have presumably still been able to hold down jobs."

Yeah, and Berger said he believes he threw a few of the classified documents away, of course, he said by mistake. We really have enough sense to know he woudn't have said he threw them away on purpose.....duh? How stupid do we look?????
