It looks as if the NYPD plans to simply ignore the order--and why does it not surprise me that the ACLU was involved in this.
This is a judge who has had a running battle with individual rights and drugs - he is on the side of individual rights. Mayor Bloomberg should appeal this ruling; Judge Sweet clearly has his battles mixed up.
And what are the rules in effect for the Democrat's Convention???

Impeach this judge! There is a specific threat or is this left-winger too old to remember 9-11? Why then do they search bags when I fly, or go to an event? Something is wrong here why would a federal judge support possible terrorist?

Just tell him to shove it and do the right thing. If the police and the mayor showed some loyalty, he wouldn't be able to do a thing about it.

The Constitution is not a suicide pact.there has to be a better outcome than what this judge found.
I have no doubt this will be overturned.

The judge, for consistency sake, also should strike down New York's gun laws, (Amendmendt II) so citizens can open carry to deter crimminals and terrorists from preying on unarmed citizens.
