This is all just a kid's memory of the stuff...it could well BE 50 years. We don't see much about that aspect these days.

No hope of any Pub mentioning any Clinton failures. That would appear partisan.

God forbid that should happen - why, the New York Times might actually write something bad about them! The horror!

I can barely stand to look at these clowns anymore. Kean speaking. He lost my respect long ago.

Jackasses, the lot of them on that panel.

It was the after action report, stating that those policy suggestions needed to be in place, but were not, that was stolen from the secure reading room.

Yes. Also Rumsfield has said that. Friendly spirited competition, and distributed *authority* are the antidotes we should be getting, if we were as a Nation, sane.

Instead, we are addled. And loathe to give up our weakness -- because of lust for power.

The notes delineating the Clinton shortcomings were stolen from the secure reading room by Berger. Why would they mention them?

Giving kudos to the families and trying to make the Jersey widows feel better.

I'm sure we'll be hearing from THEM today.

And I'm just as sure they won't be happy with what the commission found.

Even the alphabet networks are carrying this.

They're eagerly standing by for the orgy of Bush trashing that's guaranteed to come from the commission Rats.

Y'all, friends, good heads,

Why have democrats and republicans alike been so respectful of this committee's findings? Even Nancy Pelosi.

This report has scared them to death.

These 2 men managed to pull together a unanimous report, despsite the venomous nastiness of Richard Ben ViNeste, and secret motivations of Gorelick, the idiocy of John Kerry, and despite the self-serving political agenda of the Jersey Girls.

For awhile at least, this atmosphere of non-partisanship will prevail. It will benefit George W. Bush, and that's a good thing. And that's what eventually will get things back to politics as usual.

But folks, this report is historical, and these 2 men have fully impressed that upon the committee members and the elected officials who have been briefed.

Did you hear that? "WE EXPECT FURTHER ATTACKS"

If democrats use this report for political gain, they will be turned out by voters.

The timing of the release of this report stinks.

There is no doubt in my mind they released it NOW just to kill the Sandy Berger story.

Blah, blah, blah, blah...Anyone of us could have made that speech without interviewing anyone or spending a dime. Here's my favorite: WE NEED TO SHOW THE PEOPLE OF THE MIDDLE EAST THERE IS A BETTER LIFE AND HELP TOWARDS ACHIEVING THAT.

Isn't that what the Iraqi war is about you MORONS. Of course my second favorite is we have to have more of a dialog with the radical Muslims. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remeber them leaving a list of demands of anything in fact when they blew up the WTC and killed 3,000 people.
