Special Announcement: Episode III Title July 24, 2004
Starwars.com is pleased to announce that Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith is the full title of the next Star Wars film, scheduled for release on May 19, 2005.
The Sith are masters of the dark side of the Force and the sworn enemies of the Jedi. They were all but exterminated by the Jedi a thousand years ago, but the evil order continued in secrecy. They operated quietly, behind the scenes, acting in pairs - a Master and an Apprentice - patiently biding their time before they could take over the galaxy. In Episode III, they'll finally exact their revenge on the Jedi.
The title was publicly revealed today in a special presentation to a packed audience of Star Wars fans at Comic-Con International in San Diego, California. "For some time now, the naming of a new Star Wars movie has taken on some special meaning among core fans, who love to take part in guessing games before a title is announced, and then engage in debate once it is," said Steve Sansweet, Director of Content Management and Head of Fan Relations for Lucasfilm. "Let the debates begin."
Here's hoping this is not in the script (but I would not be surprised if it were):

Hating someone who doesn't agree with liking movies? Yes, that's why I don't hate people who like what I consider swill. Waste of time. I just consider their taste bad.

What the US Military needs are some of those Imperial Walkers (AT-AT) that appeared during the Battle of Hoth scene in the "Empire Strikes Back". Could you imagine those things on the battlefield against the terrorists. We should develop some of those in real life!
Then again, the Protest Warriors could use the Walkers as well, keep those anarchists in check with their little protests...
I like the title. I am a fan of the series. I was reading that the final lightsaber duel between Obi - Wan and Anakin will last 12 minutes, without interruption. That should be cool.

She looks like she could be luke and leias parents and I could see why Anakin would fall in love with her, but I dont know about her acting in Episode 2.

I'm very excited! My jedis (see profile) are going to go nuts when I tell 'em! I loved the very first original Star Wars (saw it 13 times when it was in the theater when I was a kid). I don't particularly care for any of the others...they're alright, but I don't just love 'em.
My boys, however, are just WILD about them, so I get a great deal of enjoyment watching them enjoy them. This is the first time I will allow my eldest to attend the midnight viewing.
No, but he'll still be voting for Kerry in November.
