A faithful man will be richly blessed . . .
As we come to the end of another busy work week, may we not take our eyes off the prize---the gift of salvation and eternal life in heaven with You. Thank You, Father, for all the times You make us aware of Your presence---in the darkness of the storm as well as in the simple fluttering of a butterfly’s wings. You are our Creator and we are blessed to belong to You.
Father, we are in the midst of a great spiritual war. We pray for those members of the Senate, the House, and the Supreme Court whom satan has drawn to the side of darkness. We ask that You would send forth messengers of the Holy Spirit to bring light to their darkness and that You would replace the devil’s lies with the truth. Deliver President Bush from any of their agendas that would lead this nation further from You. Father, thwart the plans of those who seek to destroy this man who has been appointed to lead our nation. He is a faithful man, and we are confident that You will richly bless him. He is Your child and he is seeking to do Your will. Enlighten him and direct him in the path he should go. Grant him a strong connection with the American people as he campaigns across the nation. Help him to communicate strength, resolve, and decisiveness. Enable him to redirect the campaign debate so that the real issues are addressed. Lead him to seek Your will in all things, whether they be matters of state or matters of the heart. Protect him from harm and danger, and revitalize him physically during the long days of travel.
May Your Word multiply in Iraq, Father, as the Iraqis experience the sweet taste of freedom. Please give strength, courage, and protection to our military men and women, Lord. We pray that You would hasten the day when they can return safely to their homes and families.
Bring our nation back to You, Lord. Where we have been blind to Your vision, please give us eyes to see. Where we have been deaf to Your teachings, we ask for ears to hear. Where we have failed to stand up for Your truths, please grant us tongues that will speak, backbones that will help us stand tall, and hands and feet that will help us work for You. Where we have denied Your existence and placed other gods before You, please give us hearts to know You as the one, true God---our Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer. These prayers we lift up to You in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Dearest Lord Jesus;
Thank you for Your Love and Your Forgiveness. I ask today that you forgive me for failing You in so many ways. I ask that You help me to strive to be more like You each day. I am a sinner who continues to sin, yet I know you have forgiven me of those sins. I thank you and adore you and Your Loving Spirit. What a joy it is to know You are always with me and You love me more than anyone else ever could. Yet, I have the daily struggles, and one of them is the spite I have at times for others who harm our country. I pray you will soften my heart and enlighten those who are always so critical of our leaders. I ask You be with those who are determined to harm the United States and our military, as well as other people in our world. We are all Your children, but many are so lost that they do not know Your Love and Your Unconditional Love.
At this time in our country, people are being deceived and lies are rampant. Lord I just ask of You, that You open the eyes of the people of our World to see the Truth of President Bush, and the differance between him and John Kerry. We know that you hold the future and I just ask that you lead the blinded to find the Truth. Help those of us who Know you to be examples to those who do not. You have blessed our country and we want to share our wealth, health, food and other aides we have at our touch.
I pray you be with our Military, protect them, Lord, give them your peace and wrap your arms around them in your love and let them know they are doing the right things for the people of Iraq and all other locations. Lord, I pray for their famailies that You will honor them and give them Your Peace and they will return home safely.
I pray for all the EVIL ones who are out to kill. Lord, I just pray that someone will show them Your love and their hearts will turn towards you. I ask the country seek you.
Lord, I know You weep when You see the abortion tee shirts, the flag burning, the hostility. Lord, I thank you for those like Mel Gibson, who had courage to take on Hollywood with Your Truth..... I pray for the elite who are so confused and drug indudced with their disructful life styles. I pray that Your People will be awakened to know and teach their child what movie stars to support and who to not give in to their income or their music.
I pray for President Bush and just ask You put a wall of protection around him, his family and all of our leaders. I ask you protect the U.S. and stop any type of terrorist attacks that they are planning. I ask that the leaders of the terrorist groups be brought to their knees with quilt and Know Your Pressence.
You are awesome, You are beyond any comprehension that I could ever know. But I do know You say in scripture that were two or more shall gather... so shall You.

Father, we are so grateful that You are here in the midst of us and that You inhabit our prayers. We praise You for drawing Your people together for the good of America, that we may lift up our President and the citizens of this nation, and call upon all Your mighty Word and Your faithful promises to be unleashed for our good and Your glory. You are an awesome and mighty God---the great King above all the earth. May Your Name be glorified both now and forevermore. Through Jesus Christ, Amen!

Many have been the trials and tribulations of our beloved commander-in-chief, but You have delivered him out of them all, just as Your Holy Word promises You will do for Your Children of Grace! How we thank You, O Christ our Deliverer! You have lifted him up, again and again; You have dashed the Wicked Hopes of his enemies, with a laugh! They cannot overthrow him, O God our Mighty One! He is Invincible in Your Grace, full of the Strength of his God, and he will go forth in the Power of the Almighty, as his foes fall before him, to the left and to the right! Lord, we have seen this week the power of the lie. We have seen the power of a culture based on celebrity, where artistic talent - even so-called Christian talent - very wrongly passes for spiritual and political authority. We have seen extremist elements dressed up as moderates. We have seen repeated hypocrisies of the worst sort. And the battle has only begun.
Lord, so many times as I was watching the Democrat convention I wondered if I was watching a Woodstock revival. Our nation has been reduced to seductive music and profane inner city rhythms replacing sound political discourse. Like the Israelites before the golden calf, we truly are in a degenerate state.
I know the Republicans must compete on a superficial level with the level of the Democrat production, but I pray that its core content will not be compromised. The American people first of all need to be told the truth about their condition before change can ever come. I pray then for the organizers of that convention, that they be open to Your leading, that the convention would not merely be a plasticized showcase, but a meaningful confrontation with spiritual truth. May they seek Your face. Let the people see that there indeed is a difference between the parties. Let them see who is telling the truth and who seeks to lead in the right spirit.
Lord, the battle rages for each one of us, and I pray that we will be given wisdom on how to join it. Give us the discernment to know when to forebear and when to engage, for we cannot fight every battle and remain effective. The battle belongs to You; we are only Your ambassadors, Your hands, feet, and mouths. And when we do engage please give us the tongue of disciples, to know how to give effective answer. Empty us so that we can be filled with You. We would that as a result of this battle many would come to You, yet we understand that the law is the tutor that leads men to Christ. Therefore, we must engage some on the convicting moral grounds upon which politics rests. Help us in this regard.
Especially help those in leadership positions, especially again the president. These people are on the front lines of dealing with lies and hatred. Fortify them for the battle, for they are Your vessels, and so much rests on this election.
Please be with our troops, the peoples of troubled lands, the ongoing hostage situations, and Your persecuted throughout the world. We ask for victory on all these fronts, to Your glory, amen.
Yes, Father. Help us to decrease---to die to self so that You may live and increase within us. Strengthen us by might by Your powerful Spirit so that we may be rooted and grounded in Your unfailing love, and filled with all Your fullness. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

thankyou for this gathering of Your saints,thankyou for this time our prayers can be laid at Your great throne of grace.
Lord,we pray for all of Your saints,we pray especially for george walker bush,laura bush,their family and members of the executive branch.we pray for their strength,through Your grace as they endure the schedules of the campaign.
Lord,Your saints know from Your word that defiled clay cannot see or hear the truth without You infinite mercy and grace.
Lord,we pray for those who cannot hear the truth,we pray they are able to discern the lies that are bourne from the evil despotism of the left.

"Do You See Jesus in Your Clouds?"
"Behold, He is coming with clouds..."
Revelation 1:7
In the Bible clouds are always associated with God. Clouds are the sorrows, sufferings, or providential circumstances, within or without our personal lives, which actually seem to contradict the sovereignty of God. Yet it is through these very clouds that the Spirit of God is teaching us how to walk by faith. If there were never any clouds in our lives, we would have no faith. "The clouds are the dust of His feet" (Nahum 1:3). They are a sign that God is there. What a revelation it is to know that sorrow, bereavement, and suffering are actually the clouds that come along with God! God cannot come near us without clouds - He does not come in clear-shining brightness.
It is not true to say that God wants to teach us something in our trials. Through every cloud He brings our way, He wants us to unlearn something. His purpose in using the cloud is to simplify our beliefs until our relationship with Him is exactly like that of a child - a relationship simply between God and our own souls, and where other people are but shadows. Until other people become shadows to us, clouds and darkness will be ours every once in a while. Is our relationship with God becoming more simple than it has ever been?
There is a connection between the strange providential circumstances allowed by God and what we know of Him, and we have to learn to interpret the mysteries of life in the light of our knowledge of God. Until we can come face to face with the deepest, darkest fact of life without damaging our view of God's character, we do not yet know Him.
"...they were fearful as they entered the cloud" (Luke 9:34). Is there anyone except Jesus in your cloud? If so, it will only get darker until you get to the place where there is "no one anymore, but only Jesus..." (Mark 9:8; see also verses 2-7).

Please grant discerning ears to all who hear the lies of the enemy. Please open their ears to the truth, and close them to lies.
Thank you Lord for our wonderful President. Please keep him uplifted in You, and not brought down by the lies and negativity during this campaign. Let he and Laura lean on You and find comfort and peace in each other and their family.

Our Heavenly Father, we kneel before you again today thanking you for the many blessings we have from you. Dear Lord, we pray for President Bush and ask that you watch over him as he travels. There are so many who wish him harm. We pray for his administration and his family.
We ask blessings also on our military men and women who are fighting to bring peace to the world. We ask that you comfort their families and that they will all be reunited soon.
We ask these blessings in Your Son's Precious Name, Amen.
Father, we thank You for being a sun and shield to our President. May he always walk uprightly in the glow of Your light and be showered with Your grace, placing his complete trust in You. May Your Holy and Awesome Name be glorified in his life. Through Jesus Christ, Amen.

Father, we pray that our President would truly trust in You. When he is doubtful, help him to trust in Your certainty; when he is unsteady, help him to trust in Your firm strength. When he feels the darkness overcoming him, cause his face to turn to Your light. May he fear You, Lord, and shun evil so that he may find favor and receive the fullness of a life of trust in the One immortal, invisible, unchanging God. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
