From Mike Wilson, Director:
Wow... it's really good.
I am absolutely blown away by how well Michael Moore Hates America has turned out. We're finishing our third pass right now. It's funny, heartfelt and moving and better than I expected. Chris, Carr, Maura, Curt, Brian, Greg, Levi, Bob and I have created something that is meaningful, and I'm so excited for you to see it. We're coming down to the end of this journey, and every single person who worked on the film, who donated their hard-earned cash to help us move forward or sent an email telling me not to give up when I really wanted to has my deepest gratitude.
We've had distributors flying in this week to screen the film and more will be looking at it in the next few days. The reaction has been gratifying which makes the struggles of the last 18 months worth it.
We'll be shacked up in the edit suite to tighten the film, add more sparkle and work with Bob and Levi to get the score just right. After that, and after the distribution deal is finished, the MMHA World Tour will begin.
And for those of you who have emailed me as of late, I'm several days behind on reading and responding to those because of the massive amount of time the edit has taken up. I'll try to get through some of it today
I'll check in again soon.
Take care,
Mike Wilson
Director, Michael Moore Hates America
I do not much care for fat head Moore either. He should move to France and break my heart.
Good luck friend. May this be the start of a brilliant future for you. I'll be watching for your projects!
Cannot wait to see it...how can we promote this?
I plan to see this. Here's hoping it will SMASH F911's record.

I have several friends and relatives who've seen F451, and I want to insist they see your film in order to be "fair and balanced".
Hope your film gets the same wide distribution as Moore's, and next year's Palm D'Or. Why not?
Realistically, I hope you've considered an alternate distribution plan.
Mike,
Congrats on putting together what appears to be a fine documentary. I saw both trailers and they appear superb.
Of course everyone wants to know how your film will be distributed. Hollywood is so far left, we doubt you'll find success via any of the major film distributors.
Will you try to get it into Sundance? Cinemax? Any distributor of influence in NYC?
What we need here is Mike Wilson at the camera and ? at the film distributor executive suite. You are only half of the equation for success.
Good luck,
Hostage
PS - I appreciate your not asking for $$$ on the FR website because it makes you look like you're not here peddling for pennies. That shows class IMO. That said, I would still like to donate $$$, freep mail me.
LOL... I'm not Mike Wilson.
LOL!!!!!!!
Any idea if this will be on DVD?
That will be one of the three or four movies I will go see this year. I am looking forward to seeing it, although I predict it will receive negligable promotion from the networks.
And I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for HBO or Cinemax to show the film. They are too busy showing Hookers on the Point and Real Sex 69 and Angels in America to show something even the least bit conservative.
Good luck finding a theater that will run it. The art houses won't even touch it. They're too busy running that Pro-Al Jazeera documentary.
This is great! lol
I found this on EBay(I don't know how to do anything but put the link here):http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=15687&item=3923438700
My bad. I saw the signoff in the text and forgot to look at the footer. Lol!
Anyways, if the guy reads FR, you can direct him to my post. Thanks.
Looks like the large QuickTime version of the new trailer doesn't work, and the little version is barely visible on my screen. Guess I shouldn't own an Apple Cinema HD Display, eh? :-).
Could you let me know when you have the large version up?
Many thanks.
D
Hildy,
Maybe, maybe not. I tend to think that if they believe it will make money they will run the film. In the end, it's all about paying the light bill.
Awesome!!!!!!!!!
I WILL go to this film if it comes to Tucson.
