Pakistan has been incredibly helpful in the War on Terror. The UK, Poland, and Australia have given us very valuable support in Iraq, but all the big breakthroughs in rounding up terrorists have come with Pakistani help.

One reason for that is that Pakistan is infested with terrorists and Poland, for example, isn't. But the war would be infinitely harder to win without the active cooperation of that country.
