Sharon Stone blames US President George W Bush for the absence of a lesbian kissing scene in Catwoman - because of the current conservative climate in America.

Sharon Stone blames US President George W Bush for the absence of a lesbian kissing scene in Catwoman - because of the current conservative climate in America.

Basic Instinct star Stone, 46, was keen to enjoy an intimate moment with Oscar-winning co-star Halle Berry, but believes a puritanical streak running through the country put an end to any potential girl-on-girl action.

Stone says: "Halle's so beautiful and I wanted to kiss her. I said, 'How can you have us in the movie and not have us kiss? That's such a waste.'

"That's what you get for having George Bush as president."

Speaking of the latest Hollywood dud, Movie Review: Catwoman is pure torture. Halle Berry's lines are so lame that she cannot even deliver the repartee (“Cat got your tongue?”) without self-conscious awkwardness | by Gene Edward Veith

That's about the only thing that could have made this turkey worth watching.

To #73 post: "If she wants to blame Bush over some movie decision, we should all acknowledge that the movie Fahrenheit 9/11 would never have been made, let alone hyped, if a Democrat had been President during that tragedy.

Are you kidding? That would require actually thinking on her part. Remember - this is the woman who was "asked" (why?) to go before a Senate committee (true story) to talk to them about something related to sex & teenagers. She recommended that parents, in an attitude of non-judgementalism, place a jar of prophylactics by the front door so the little darlings can pick one up before they go out on a date. This is a true story, folks. She's nuts. And she was INVITED to speak before a Senate committee. She's really, really koo-koo. Nutsy. Gone, Gone, Gone. No lights are on up there. Sheesh....

Speaking of inappropriate, did anybody catch the Dell laptop commercial with the Goth and the ditzy blonde? In the last few seconds the Goth wraps a big snake around the blonde and I could swear she was doing some inappropriate fondling. It was maybe the last three frames, it was that quick. Or maybe I just have a dirty mind?

That reminds me of her delivery of the awful toad line in X-Men. Joss Weedon blames her for her terrible delivery, but I think it's a little from column A, a little from column B.

"She gets the award for stupidest political comment of the season so far"

There are many whackadoos in contention for that honor. I would like to nominate Courtney Love.

The last thing I want to say is, 'I'm a victim', but I am. I believe it's a trickledown from Bush

This chick has been hated by her coworkers from the word go. When she made King Solomon's Mine, the crew let her know that they had all urinated in a tank in which she had just swam.

So now that millions of Americans have demonstrated their dislike of bad taste and immoral behavior, it is suddenly Bush's fault? We decide to not support products who's marketing people choose foulmouthed ideologues as spokespeople, and our President gets badmouthed again? What is it with these people?

They just do not understand that it is possible to go TOO FAR with their sickening behavior and language. They are like spoiled children not believing in consequences for their wicked actions. The truth is that we live in a society built on decency and morality, and the more they push the envelope, the more they are going to eventually alienate themselves from the mainstream. We are past the days of Madonna wearing sleazy clothing and a few swear words in the latest Hollywood movies. What is happening now is a major evolution in the product those in Hollywood are producing. Most of it is filthy, rude, immoral, and serves no purpose but titillation, and it has no place in a civilized society.

Now that common people are standing up against that kind of behavior and exercising their rights not to buy the products they advertise, we hear cries of free speech violations and suffering under a strict conservative administration. They will go as low as possible, tear down good and honest people, tell any lies, say anything to advance their agenda of sickness and filth.

America has only just begun to stand up and tell the world that we will not be a slave to socialism. The more Hollywood pushes, the more the American people will realize how sick our society has really become. It's time to take our country back from Hollywood socialists. It is time to hold these people accountable for the poison they spread throughout the world.

I've already severely cut my spending on entertainment products, especially those which serve to promote deviant behavior, beliefs bereft of morality, and otherwise filthy material which serves no purpose but to satisfy this lust of perversion. I believe I am not the only one who feels this way, but we have a long way to go before we clean house.

Anyone shocked? I mean, this is a broad who was, according to all credible rumors at the time, Bill Clinton's West Coast receptacle.

She's one of those "actresses" who really believes she got ahead on her talent, despite the long line of desktops in H'wood she's polished.
