I've read it and I haven't changed my mind. Sorry. I still think it was a foolish move to invade Iraq. I don't think it's helped the War on Terror and I don't think it's made the world safer.
I agree that many of the secondary benefits have been welcome. No-one can say that putting the Hussein boys on a slab wasn't a great move and it always feels good to derail a gravy train.
However, I still don't believe that the primary aim; to win the War on Terror, has been achieved or will be achieved through tactics like this.
A very well written article, though and a worthy read.
