Swift Photo (... and the Swift Boat Veterans Story Builds In Intensity! YEAH, Baby -- !)
Washington Times ^ | 8/5/04 | Greg Pierce

Swift Boat Veterans for Truth has posted a photo on its Web site, www.swiftvets.com, that shows just how little support Democratic presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry has among swift boat officers who knew him in Vietnam.

Twenty officers, including Mr. Kerry, are shown in the photo, but the Web site urges viewers to touch it with their cursor to see just how many support the Massachusetts Democrat's White House bid. Suddenly, only one man is standing near Mr. Kerry.

if it would be legal for the Democrats

Legal isn't a consideration for demoncRATs.
The question is can they get away with it.

With the support of their media the answer is of course, Yes.

"Probably this is an attack by the GOP questioning JFKerry's patriotism, will be first reaction, they have practiced this since the git go."

You know what? I would question his patriotism to a point of calling him a Communist sympathizer. Might even go as far as to call him the Manchurian Candidate.

I would show the pictures of him and Ortega, Castro, Arafat, in Vietnam with Berger. I would embrace this and make him come out in front of the entire nation and refute it. I would insist that as a sitting government official, he purposely cavorted with Communists during the cold war, even to a point of implicating him with anti-US propaganda, then reference 1971 as an example.

Question his patriotism? The guy is a F&^%&ing Communist and he is running for the highest office in the free world.

My parents only watch the alphabet channels and don't hear anything negative about Kerry, but do get an earful about Bush.

Ditto for me, it's difficult to speak with them. They keep telling me that we needed "more UN inspections", they don't even believe the oil-for-food scandal happened. I'm still trying to figure out what it is about flying a fighter aircraft and actually defending the homeland that is NOT Patriotic and heroic.

But of course he is a "commie" in the first order, but he sure as .ell cannot win the presidency if he were honest. So this bunch of "commies" set in motion the crocodile tears campaign that "IF" they question President Bush then their patriotism is questioned.

While the RNC nor the GOP have entertained any question about his "hero" status, the response will be to lie again and accuse the same of questioning his patriotism. The lies will continue.

I think a better analogy would be....

Kerry tries out for his football team. He makes the team, and gets hurt running a couple plays on offense in the first game.

He quits the football team and spends the rest of his high school life telling the school board about all the atrocities that were committed by his team to the other team. You know, like tackling and blocking them. And maybe a couple kids on the other team get hurt too which seemingly adds legitimacy to what Kerry is saying.

Kerry's former football players are looked down upon as goons after the football season, where they finish 8-3 but all the fans assume they had a losing season, because thats what the local newspaper kept saying over and over. Many of his former football players are given the short end of the stick after they graduated high school, just because they played for that high school team, that season.

Thirty years later, Kerry tries to pick up chicks by telling everyone he was a star football player 30 years ago.

I sincerely hope that my inability to get to their site indicates (not a DOS attack bu) an overwhelming response to their publicity.

I hope that they can manage to get some mirror sites up and running ASAP.

re: "The Kerry Campaign had to have known that these stories would break one day....."

Consider:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1115339/posts

As I stated on another thread last night, I would bet the farm the two are related. It is time someone started to connect these dots.

There is no such thing as a coincidence. Kerry is ruthless and he thinks the electorate is stupid.

If (God forbid) he is elected this will come out and we will be in for another Watergate/Monicagate/NameTheGate. We are at war, World War IV. The last issue we need to to deal with is a President who may have been involved in the same type of crime which drove Nixon out of office.

It does not make any sense at all that Kerry would not be involved. He, and he alone, knew what was in those records.

(Believing bubba does not want Kerry to win this election, I considered he may be behind this. He collects FBI files like kids collect baseball files. I am assuming he has no need for them as he probably has his copy.)

"Only problem is, those stories were true. I expect we may not hear much more about Troopergate"

Well, that is the success of diminishing, ridiculing and labeling. . .'the enemy'. Think the VRWC worked for the Dems in too many cases.

They do the same by labeling Rush 'hate radio' etc.; and now Fox News is Repub propaganda; yes, and soon the Swift Boat Veterans will be synonomous with another Repub conspiracy. . .whatever, they will think of something; and try anything.

And Troopergate; well, they better not go there. . .

"Democrats have been known to abuse the power of government for partisan purposes (ie: using the FBI to conduct research on political oppoenents, using the GAO and FBI to justify firing the travel office, firing all DOJ attorney's on a whim that some of them were hired during POTUS 40 and 41 regimes, abuse the regulatory power of the EPA to torment businesses that support GOP policies, etc, etc . . ,)"

. . .worth repeating and the 'etc' is the never-ending story of the Dems determination, by any means.

Well, again, these Swift Boat Veterans have put themselves on the 'front lines' once more; and we can be thankful for their brave efforts to stop John Kerry.

from the RAT board "The band of brothers are the people who actually served on the swiftboat WITH Kerry. Only one of them is against Kerry. All those other men in the photo barely knew Kerry. They did NOT serve on the same boat with Kerry."

their stooopidity knows no bounds!!!

they were his fellow officers judging one of their peers not subordinates sucking up to him.

Do the Swift Boat vets have a right to speak? Yes.

Do they have a right to be heard? Yes.

But why should we pay any special attention to them? Because John Kerry put them on stage. He's the one who stood up in front of their picture, intimating that they supported his candidacy and his account of his actions in Viet Nam.

He did so again, just last week - after having received a "cease and desist" letter from those vets, who objected to that portrayal.

John Kerry put these vets pictures on the national stage, and John Kerry who asked us to ask the vets about what they thought of him.

He has absolutely no grounds for complaint if the vets choose to express their opinion.

You forgot to mention Kerry's stories of the kegger where some football players allegedly beat up some nerds and raped some girls as well as tales of them vandalizing the other team's school.

Some star players got suspended on Kerry's false testimony before the student council, costing the team some games, and team spirit was hurt reducing the crowds at the games.

Kerry took to showing up at pep rallies for the cross-town rival team. He was well accepted there as a turn coat. It got him some chicks and invites to parties.

Am wondering what the Kerry team has in mind to deflect the damage of this cannonball, coming at them.

"We are deeply saddened that the President would resort to gutter attacks and the politics of personal destruction. The big money interests of the fringe right are bank rolling this desperate attempt to dishonor an American war hero. The American people will not stand for this and will elect John Kerry, a true patriot and strong leader for America."

Repeat ad nauseum.

"The American people will not stand for this and will elect John Kerry, a true patriot and strong leader for America."

No doubt that will be subtext here; but appears the first big cannon fired was their legal team attempting to silence the media; warning them against even showing this ad.

The mind of the Left is a scary thing.

I listen to Bill O'Reilly's radio program when there's breaking news so that I can be prepared for the Dem talking points. This afternoon he's busy saying that the swiftboat veterans who served with Kerry on his boat all support Kerry. We know that's not true, but it's what the Dems are going to say if O'Reilly is the usually reliable front man.

Glad to see the swifties are prepared for this.
