I see you have never read the quoran. Muslims, even the so-called "moderate" ones are specifically and repeatedly called on to kill all non-Muslims. Period.

This is unequivocal. You should disabuse yourself of your fantasy and see reality for what it is. A "moderate muslim" is a terrorist plant.

Then you need glasses, because I have read the qu'ran. I'm well aware of Muhammad's wine/opium soaked, graphically violent rants against all of us of other faiths.

I also know there ARE moderate Muslims, who do ignore the violent aspects. Maybe they're more lapsed than Muslim, but they identify themselves as Muslim. THOSE are the people that radical clerics have called on to be killed if they help the war on terror in any way.

You make my point for me. Someday THOSE are going to have to choose between killing us infidels or being killed by their muslim "brethren." How do you think they are going to choose? Do you want to be there when they do?

By "ignoring the violent aspects" all they are doing is buying time -- those aspects ARE the core of islam.

There are however plenty of "cultural Muslims" who don't succumb to despair and just want to make money and raise families. Particularly in the United States. The problem is that the penalty for leaving Islam is death.

I stand corrected. I think we are saying the same thing -- see my previous posts re: those who have chosen to call themselves "moderate Muslims."

IMHO any moderate Muslims who care about their children's future, would be crazy not to vote for GWB.

Reminds me of Ed Koch saying that Jews would have to be crazy to vote for Jesse Jackson. Actually, Jews would have to crazy to vote for Kerry, but he's going to carry the Jewish vote 80-20.
