I believe this is more of the Clintoons scullduggery, and we may yet see her heinous. What can we do?
To: pageonetoo
What can we do? Nothing. We're doomed. ;-D
Seriously? I think he'll make it to the election, and lose.

I understand your suspicions, but I think you're basing your fears on the fact that the Kerry Campaign seems to be unwinding through mistake after mistake. I think the Dems who are still Dems are just plain too stupid to put together a credible campaign.
Question is, can they get much more dumb? Probably. My advice is to just sit back and enjoy the show.

I think it will be Hitlery, someone other than Edwards as VP.

Why would Kerry withdraw? He's been aiming for this his whole life, and no one will convince him he should withdraw.
I am 100% sure he will remain the nominee.

The Kerry team is over their head, and they are dealing with someone who has been spoiled into thinking that Massachusetts is mainstream America.
Mary Beth Cahill is particularly unimpressive -- makes Susan Estrich look like a pro.

Hiya, Eggs! ;-D
A Kerry or Edwards withdrawal for ANY reason would, in my opinion, be clearly seen as the transparent ploy it was.

Mary Beth and her team seem like they got their experience running a cafeteria in a grammar school.

I'm not sure of the legality of a Kerry withdrawl. I do think the damage would be too great for his replacement to stand a chance.

These people are in serious trouble. You don't take a Yugo into the Indy 500 unless you know a heckuva shortcut.

Hitlery..........I like that. Nice bumper sticker.
Hitlery 2008....A name you can trust?????

If Kerry has any intention of withdrawing, it will have to be long before the end of September. If he waits that long, he may find that he's passed the ballot deadline in many states -- in which case he'll still end up on the ballot in these states even if he drops out of the race.

I Have had the same thoughts, and i do not know enough about the whole nominating process.
i think some "persons" put this jerk up for the kill[scapegoat],however i believe 4 more years of the executive
branch held by the right will make most of the left impotent for good.

Remember in 1972 when Tom Eagleton withdrew as the dem's VP nominee, the Democratic National Committee met and selected Sargeant Shriver as their replacement candidate. It's provided for in the party rules. Perfectly legal.

The Dork isn't going anywhere. He will continue to implode further and further and this country will be more divided then ever. He will lose in the voting booth, there will be a recount and legal action AGAIN, Bush will have "Stolen" the election once again, yadda yadda yadda...

I believe this is more of the Clintoons scullduggery,
Doesn't David Kendall still represent The National Enquirer?
