Listen, he wasn't president on Sept. 11, and I am not questioning his reflexes or reactions, but it is worth noting what Kerry did do on Sept. 11, 2001. Here's what he told Larry King: "...And as I came in [to a meeting in Sen. Daschle's office], Barbara Boxer and Harry Reid were standing there, and we watched the second plane come in to the building. And we shortly thereafter sat down at the table and then we just realized nobody could think, and then boom, right behind us, we saw the cloud of explosion at the Pentagon..."
Kudos to Red State for finding that. And for noting: "It should be noted that the second plane hit the World Trade Center at 9:03 a.m., and the plane hit the Pentagon at 9:43 a.m. By Kerry's own words, he and his fellow senators sat there for forty minutes, realizing 'nobody could think.'"
He's got a new one- may need to research exact quote, but it was an answer to whether he would have gone to war, and he said "I definitely might have acted" or something to that effect lol
Yes that is right. His tongue probably hung out to the side, like Homer Simpson's when he goes into a trance. And all he could get out would be "Duuuuuuuhh". Oh excuse me, I'm sorry - I didn't mean to put Homer down.

Kerry probably wrote paperwork to get a medal, since he was in Wash. D.C. at the time of the attack.

Thank you for posting this. I'd heard about Kerry's 20/20 hindsight remarks throughout the day, which was bad enough. Then I heard him actually intone in his best presidential (or so he thought) tone what he would've done; I cannot remember his exact wording but he would've used "the president" instead of "I" when speaking to the children. It was smug and mentally nauseating.
Daschle, Reid, Boxer, Kerry, AND JOHN MC CAIN?????????at a leadership meeting on the morning of 9/11!!!

I don't think is that big of a deal, it is entirely possible that different people think up the same questions and find the same answers to those questions..
