Kerry so largely succeeded, he largely succeeded in giving Bush a 5 point bounce, a new USA TODAY/CNN/Gallup poll shows. (Gallup is deemed "the historic standard" in tracking convention bounces, noted Deborah Orin of the New York Post Monday.) Bush now leads Kerry among likely voters, 51%-47%. Kerry led Bush by 2 points before Kerry 'largely succeeded' in Boston last week. Kerry's speech was effective -- it improved voters' opinion of Bush as President, boosting their willingness to vote for Bush. Millions of voters were moved by Kerry's speech to vote for Bush. The convention gave Bush the biggest lift he could have hoped from a Democrat convention that 'largely succeeded.' Kerry emerged from his 'largely successful' convention with the party unified -- the Republican Party. According to Gallup, "a relatively high proportion of Americans (gave) Kerry's acceptance speech stellar reviews," which all but assured Bush's support would go up. Kerry's speech did seem to bring voters closer together -- closer together against Kerry. (Maybe they should've delayed Kerry's speech to 2 a.m. to limit viewership -- just a hunch.)

That whole paragraph says it all!

Here is something else you might want to get the word out about moi Kerri.

Here are his own words about how he did nothing for 40 minutes after the second plane hit the towers.

What Kerry REALLY did on 9/11!!!!

This was posted on The Corner at NRO. Thought it worth posting here:

~~~~~~
WHAT KERRY DID [KJL]
Listen, he wasn't president on Sept. 11, and I am not questioning his reflexes or reactions, but it is worth noting what Kerry did do on Sept. 11, 2001. Here's what he told Larry King: "...And as I came in [to a meeting in Sen. Daschle's office], Barbara Boxer and Harry Reid were standing there, and we watched the second plane come in to the building. And we shortly thereafter sat down at the table and then we just realized nobody could think, and then boom, right behind us, we saw the cloud of explosion at the Pentagon..."
Kudos to Red State for finding that. And for noting: "It should be noted that the second plane hit the World Trade Center at 9:03 a.m., and the plane hit the Pentagon at 9:43 a.m. By Kerry's own words, he and his fellow senators sat there for forty minutes, realizing 'nobody could think.'"
Another winner, JH2!!
Especially good insight on the "they've already made up their minds" and "the bounce is delayed" in the same breath.
That loud thud you heard last week is kerry's bounce.
Any more bounces like this and he'll be lucky to hit 6 figures in the vote total
So in other words they soiled themselves.
You bet they soiled their Depends.
moi Kerri needs some new form fitting Depends. His butt looks like he is wearing hip pads and a butt pad in recent pictures.
I've studied that video of President Bush sitting in the class room as he got word of the ISLAMIC attack on the United States.
I've looked at his initial facial expressions, eye movements, hand gestures, and body language and honestly I couldn't connect with how Dubya just sat there, seemingly doing nothing.
That is until my wife, who just this week saw the replay as Bush was being attacked by J-FK for not responding in a presidential or responsible manner. Her immediate reaction - well, it stunned me.
She saw it, and upon looking at George Bush's face and eyes, instantly said of his reaction:
"He's praying . . George Bush immediately started PRAYING!"
