Thanks very much for the ping!

TD 3 is a seperate storm. It is off the north coast of Venezuala and the 5 day forecast has it passing south and west of Cuba, into the Gulf of Mexico. It could be a serious storm as it will have plenty of time to get organized. It already looks fairly well organized right now.

Is there a ping list for these storms?? I was wondering the same thing.
But since there doesn't appear to be one - and these storms don't always effect everyone equally (some are only Gulf, others are southern or north east coast) maybe just a message to the different states' message boards with a link to the thread might work????

If you want to start a separate thread for D3, you can.

I'm happy answering her question on here, but thanks.

My first Hurricane Season here in Florida. I am in the Tampa Bay area, which is not a frequent Hurricane target, but for me it is a big deal.
I don't know which is worse, the Huge Tornados and large damaging hail storms of Texas, or Hurricane possibility here in FL.

"TD 3 is a seperate storm"
I think Bonnie was TD#2.

I surprised Drudge doesn't have this posted with a flashing siren. He loves natural disasters.

Yep, it's the same storm. It died before amounting to much and continued its westward course. I think instead of Bonnie, it should be called Lazarus.

No. This one is following right behind BonnieYou're right. I didn't check the timestamp on Howlin's advisory. I thought she was referring to the storm from last week.

It looks well organized. Should be good for several days of watching.

Ah, time to fire up the hurricane tracking software. Too bad it looks like the storm will go bug FlorDUH instead of bringing some rain to Texas.
