The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

With the nation on high alert for al-Qaida terrorists, the Department of Homeland Security is putting its border officers through "etiquette" classes to soften their image and make them less threatening to arriving foreign immigrants, WorldNetDaily has learned.

"We're not sure if it was one, two or 10 (vandals)

This is a very suspicious story. I wonder if vandals = terrorists.

Two-thirds of the reduction will come from Europe, most of them Army soldiers in Germany, and most of the troops will be reassigned to bases in the United States, the aide said.

Figure about 17,000 troops to each combat Division. Bases in the USA? Most of those that come out of Germany and Europe in general will be Armor outfits (HoooooYA: Combat Arm of Decision! Can't help it, I'm a tanker) and the biggest Armor base in the country is at Fort Hood Texas....and just which national border is close to that point? This begins to come a bit clearer, to me anyway.

Any tropical updates on both TD#5 and those critters rolling off the African coast? Got any recent graphics?

Let's just hope we don't get tested with another biggy next weekend.

Amen to that!

Finally sutstantiation why a man thinks of himself as king of his castle. I know it's not PC, but at my house my hubby is undoubtedly the ruler of the roost. My wedding vows over 40 years ago said I had to honor and "obey." I challenge that vow a lot, but he'd be bored with me if I didn't.

How it relates to terrorism though is that in most instances, American men would do anything to protect their families. That "selfishness" includes preservation of their families, friends and fellow Americans - so that "selfishness" isn't all what its cracked up to be.

I bet this will be a shining hour for FEMA

Yup, best to get some good press before they have to start relocating whole populations to "camps" right after a WMD terror attack.

My daughter's roomate's mother told me she heard that the fiber optics underneath the airport were destroyed. She overheard a conversation between a maintanance man who was helping to fix the problem and someone else. They guessed that this might be some kind of "practice run", as Purdue is a tiny airport. Also said Purdue was trying to locate a foreign exchange student (midEastern)...but he has "disappeared" now. I just pulled the article up thru a Google search. Friend said it was also on the local news in West Lafayette.

Well they can be a bit crabby some times!

True, although my "bad days" seem to be the ones where my hubby finds lots of outdoor projects. A trip to the beach cures all of that though (as long as they find the Turkish ship jumpers and we are safe on our shores).

I heard something about having these troops go to Poland - one of our real allies. That would be just as good a location for ME staging. Let's take our money out of Germany and reward our allies.

LOL. I have a co-worker who has the same line of thinking as you. According to her, first the dissenters will be loaded onto trains and then taken to the camps.

My wedding vows over 40 years ago said I had to honor and "obey."

DANG, I tried to have that one inserted into the "traditional" vows at my ceremony and didn't quite understand that my Bride took that to mean ME to HER. But that's why I'm so happy now. Our 16th wedding anniversary is next week and I've never been happier. She handles the money while we both get an allowance. I freely admit I'm totally irresponsible with money. If it were up to me, we'd be the most financially destitute and best armed household in the nation. I'm the spiritual leader of the home but we make all other decisions mutually. If it really gets bad, I just give in, because nothing is worth jeopardizing the union.

The Weather Channel mentioned Texas or Mississippi -- if you want to take their word for it, that is.
