Johnson says Kerry now recollects that he made an error in saying he was IN Cambodia -- that he was only CLOSE TO Cambodia.

[So, I guess his testimony to the Senate and his recollection being seared into his memory, was a lie. Isn't perjury a criminal office -- lying to a Senate committee? Whichever way Kerry tries to wiggle on this one, he gets himself in deeper and deeper.]

Agreed. I think this is a very serious issue and it keeps the story alive. I think Kerry has now just bolstered the Swiftees' recollections over Kerry'r recollection too. It will be interesting to see what kind of press release comes out of the Swiftees over this. Remember Kerry used this Cambodia statement to go after Nixon etc.

It will now be interesting to see what the MSM does with this.

Kerry was only close to Cambodia? Did Nixon, before he was President, come close to sending Kerry to Cambodia? Did Nixon send Kerry close to Cambodia? Was Kerry close to Nixon? Keep tuned. You probably won't be surprised at the next chapter in Johnny Goes To Or Near Cambodia.

I guess all kinds of fiction get "seared" into the memory of a fraud.

"Seems like there's never a train around when you need one."

LOL. . .another stupid photo; for sure Kerry is confused as to what qualities the president and the leader of the free world should have.

And anyone who votes for him; is just as confused; to put it nicely. . .

"I guess all kinds of fiction get "seared" into the memory of a fraud."

Another reason I think, to discredit the actual interpretation of the 'saving the drowning soldier'. . .make than 'passenger in the boat' (as he references himself)story.

Yes, memories of war are seared. . .and the Vet - if I say his name it will be wrong and no time to check)- IAE, he prefaces his account first with a memory disclaimer. . .before going on to recount his saved by effen story.

One might just attribute this to his being an honest and careful man; which I am sure he is. . . but it almost discounts his 'interpretation' of the events that day. I guess he can rationalize; 'if Kerry had NOT pulled him out'. . .he might have drowned. That sounds more like where this story really comes from.

A truth. . .but not quite the way Kerry needed it dressed up; but a kind of truth, nonetheless.

Guess no one has checked to see if Kerry is showing his appreciation for his efforts or for the boost that Kerry's 'BOB' (Brother or Brothers. . .)has given him.

He was on O'Reilly last night; but could not stand to watch O'Reilly on this one. . .caught just enough and then O'Reilly starting to give the 'rationale' of the story - the way HE sees it. . .and moved on.

Amazing; so far; despite all the thunder of 'cheap lies' being thrown at those who tell the truth of Kerry;

. . . the ONLY one so far, factually known to stretch; re-constitute; re-invent and outright lie for their personal agenda for Presidential power, is Kerry himself. . .

. . . and the Demrat apparatus that support this power-mongering-hungering sociopath, which includes the Kerry media circus as well.

Why didn't Hannity nail him on the "Nixon thing". Kerry had stated that he was there because of President Nixon. Everybody now knows that Nixon was not President at the time.
That is the point to hit. No way he can get out of that one...no matter if he was in Cambodia...or near Cambodia. NIXON WASN'T THE ONE!

" He was not in Cambodia on Christmas eve, but he was in Cambodia "on some subsequent date."
Heck! He didn't even know who his "Commander in Chief" was, much less where he was!

Between the election and the inauguration, Nixon was close to being president.

"Johnson says Kerry now recollects that he made an error in saying he was IN Cambodia -- that he was only CLOSE TO Cambodia"

This mistatement, mispoke, recollects error, doesn't cut it. Frenchie told this WHOPPER of a lie multiple times, it was not a mistatement or error. It was and is a bald-faced lie. And Frenchie is a coward for not admitting it himself instead of sending flacks out to make excuses for him.

It doesn't really matter ... he's a 'Rat and 'Rats always get a pass from their buddies in the liberal mainstream media. A republican presidential candidate, caught in a similar lie, would get his balls handed to him by the liberal media ... guaranteed.
