And they still haven't gotten back to Cameron, have they? Officially? Though I heard Hume say on the rebroadcast of his show last night something along the lines of the campaign saying Kerry doesn't recall actually being in Cambodia. So much for being seared into Kerry's brain, eh?

Jeh Johnson, Kerry mouthpiece, is on Fox and Friends spinning. Brian K is asking some tough questions, but mouthpiece is staying on the talking points.
Johnson says Kerry now recollects that he made an error in saying he was IN Cambodia -- that he was only CLOSE TO Cambodia.
[So, I guess his testimony to the Senate and his recollection being seared into his memory, was a lie. Isn't perjury a criminal office -- lying to a Senate committee? Whichever way Kerry tries to wiggle on this one, he gets himself in deeper and deeper.]

Because the point was to accuse Nixon (who hadn't been sworn in yet) of sending troups into Cambodia in secret.
So now, his saying he was only NEAR Cambodia tosses out the whole premise.

The Kerry camp finally "came up with an explanation." According to Jeh on F&F, his memory was a bit off. He was not in Cambodia on Christmas eve, but he was in Cambodia "on some subsequent date."
