It's California. Just wait, they'll come up with something stupider next week.

And there will be posters here who will try to justify it.

"It's California. Just wait, they'll come up with something stupider next week."

You can take that to the bank, Big B.

Those who are proposing/implementing these new "acceptance" policies should set the example, don't you think?

They should drop their current "significant other," and re-marry their divorced, ie. "rejected," former spouses.

Can't have "rejection," can we?

And henceforth, they should do all their socializing with traditional conservatives. Can't "reject" them either, right?

They must be sure to attend any abortion clinic protests in their areas, to meet Terry Randall and other pro-lifers so these people can be invited to their birthday parties and other events.

By setting this fine example, they will be inspiring these children to do the right thing.

"Given the fact that La Raza is racist and supports a violent overthrow of the governments of the southwestern states and expulsion of the federal government from those areas, I support expulsion of students who claim membership."

Even if this is what this law was about, and it is not, it would punish people for what they are, or what they think, rather than what they do. This kind of thing punishes people for being un PC, or for believing something which is politically incorrect, or simply for socializing with others like themselves.

It would never punish students which belong to La Raza, but it could be used to punish students who belong to church groups, or jocks for not inviting non jocks to parties, or....well you get the idea don't you?

Anyone who feels excluded from any group of friends could complain that they are being "rejected", and get that group expelled. Now do you see how stupid this is?

You didn't read closely.

I said I do believe that a student who is promoting La Raza at school should be expelled. The organization is not very different from the KKK, World Church of the Creator or Aryan Nation.

That, my friend, is about free speech.

I went on to say I did not say that membership should be the basis of expulsion, but that actual activities related to this type of group have no place in the schools.

Having friends is definitley dicriminatory. In order to have friends you must choose some people over others. Gosh, that's so hurtful. As a child, my self esteem was permanently damaged by kids who practiced this so called "friendship". I urge all of us to adopt the position that "Friendship is Hate" and consider any child "Befriending" another as a hate crime.

Want the kids to accept one another as equals all around?

Remove their sense of individuality. Remove their self-confidence. Remove their ability to be themselves and resist outside pressures.

Turn them all into drones.

Make George Orwell proud and turn our next generation of children into cuddle happy zombies!

If you want to increase the amount of intermingling in a school, provide activities that bring people from different social circles into contact. My high school had a mandatory athletics program. The nerds and the jocks played sports together, and wouldn't you believe it? Some of the nerds turned out to be great at sports, and they became socially mobile. Other extracurricular activities besides sports were encouraged, and many jocks joined the choir and theater arts programs. Would you believe it? Some of them were great it. There were no "easy" classes for jocks, so they could pass and continue to play. They had to participate in academics as much as they participated in their sports. Study halls, and evening study hours in the library for underperforming students helped struggling students cope. Student tutors helped.

Even though I went to a private high school, the cost per student was only a few hundred more than most public schools spend per student.

You don't suppose these meddlers are trying to condition kids to accept the concept of forced association, do you? Nah, they wouldn't think like that, would they? They couldn't be thinking that when such students arrive at voting adulthood in another 10 years or so, they will therefore support the forced BSA acceptance of homo scout masters, could they? The forced inclusion of women into private golf clubs? The forced hiring of homosexual activists into small Christian bookstores? Nah...

Hey, it just occured to me that there are only 24 hours in a day. Rudimentary, you say? Well, sure, but not insignificant. Think about this, monday (no, on second thought, think about it today -- little joke)... Every minute spent with your own all-white, all-black or all-hispanic family is time stolen from other ethnic groups who are thereby being rejected. The obvious solution to this is to swap kids between ethnically, racially and economically dissimilar families.

Whoa! How could I have overlooked this -- every minute you spend by yourself, you are rejecting the whole of humanity! That's got to be a hate crime, at least in spirit if not letter. So no more time alone. You must be with somebody else all the time.

Oooh! You're gonna love this, monday (just might even love it today, hehe). If you're a guy like Colin Powell, you can't spend time with anybody because you've got a little of every race already in you. Now you've got a big problem, on account of you can't spend any time alone. But there's help on the way. Spend all your time with animals.

The La Raza idiots are among the biggest racists on the planet. They subscribe wholeheartedly to the racial marxism sputtered by MEChA and other assorted lunatics.

Oh my. This person is advocating an extreme form of rejection, expulsion. Can't we all just get along?

"This person is advocating an extreme form of rejection, expulsion."

But, but they're not expelling them from school, they're merely confining them to the whole rest of the city. You see how that works?

Why do I have the feeling that this law would only be enforced against whites?

Words are slippery things indeed. But "expulsion" and "rejection" are about the same, and if a person is "expelled" on the justification that "rejection" is wrong, well, the person doing so is inviting criticism.

Exactly. La Raza was used as an example to rally support.

Clearly so, and understood. I was just hoping a pithy summary would exude from my keyboard ... THAT didn't happen.
