He isn't the first, nor will he be the last, to jeopordize the lives and safety of Americans; all for S-E-X! He ought to just get it over with and blow his brains out. Sickening!

Hi All-

"...Do you wonder what it cost to have the female wife there at the press conference?..."

There are stories going around that Dina Matos is a terrorist associated with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front. In fact, a bunch of guys were standing around the watercooler at work and they were all in agreement that she was a MILF. Apparently her terrorist ties are well-known because I've heard this comment fairly frequently since the Governor McGreevey story broke.

During the newscast of McGreevey making his statement, I kept watching his beard, er, I mean, wife, who was standing beside him. She kept the same expression on her face the entire time. I couldn't figure out if she was smiling at him.....or glaring at him. The people on stage that I felt the most sorry for were his parents. They looked like their lives had just been shattered.

The GOP is still paying for Freeh's Free FBI File delivery with a smile service, and will continue to pay for quite a few more years.

If there were evidence that Freeh was involved, I think Ashcroft could have indicted him. I think the bouncer turned FBI file thief had political connections, probably to Hillary or another top Clinton politico. I don't see that Freeh was necessarily involved in it. Obviously, raw FBI files are obtainable by many within the FBI, not just the director.

Beyond that, your idea is that the current GOP office holders are acquiecing to blackmail of some kind. It's an unavoidable conclusion to your remarks. I don't believe this. If this is actually true, then voting for the GOP is the same as voting for the Dims.

His most convenient retirement, scadaddling out of Dodge a week and half prior to 9-11, combined with his departments unexplainable non-interest in pursuing leads that would have prevented 9-11 stinks to high heaven.

As far as the timing, there is such a thing as coincidence.

As far as his non-pursuit of terrorists, it's plain enough that it was his superiors who lacked interest in doing it. Clinton & Clinton & Reno. Probably Allbright and that idiot that preceded her too.

You really do overestimate the authority of the FBI in such cases. This is international in scope. The FBI has to have higher authority to extend its operations overseas. Again, Freeh may not have covered himself in glory but he also may not have been given authority to pursue such leads.

I see Xlinton-era players like Freeh or Stephanopolus as bit players. Perhaps inept or satisfied with merely having reached the top. But it's more difficult to assign them a role of active illegal plotting and subterfuge. Or treason as you suggest in Freeh's case.

I'd also point out that if the Xlinton bunch knew they could cause a 9/11 for their own political benefit, they would have done so during the 2000 election, to make Gore look more presidential and able to take over immediately and in the midst of a national security crisis. Xlinton would have loved it too. Recall how green he was with envy that 9/11 had happened on W.'s watch. He absolutely relished the idea of having the country in a panic so he could do exactly what he wanted. He made a number of remarks about this.

Actually, probably nothing. For someone as slimy and calculating as McGreevey, he's actually got her in a tight spot, not the other way around.

He is a masterful liar and an even more stupendously successful liar. In other words, your typical Dim leader.

I googled up her bio and I suspect that a business arrangement of some sort has been struck between the three of them.

I am still thinking about the Marion Berry option in life and I suspect that she will opt out when the lights are off. I hope she cleans him out, but I think that you are right about co-option.

Freeh sent the files directly to Livingstone along with notes signed "Louie"...not "Director Freeh", but "Louie" when a formal protest along the lines of "just who the F are you" or "go to hell" would have been the more appropriate response from an FBI Director. As for Ashcroft, he has shown zero interest in chasing down Clintonista criminals.

your idea is that the current GOP office holders are acquiecing to blackmail of some kind. It's an unavoidable conclusion to your remarks. I don't believe this.

That is exactly what I believe, and not all GOP office holders....just some. Jeffords flip to deny the GOP the Seante majority comes immediately to mind. Others who looked like they had nice futures in DC smartly saw the writing on the wall and bailed out...(i.e- Kasich, Molinari, and Paxson).

As far as the timing, there is such a thing as coincidence.

Other than say Jon Corzine and Trent Lott winding up with adjacent tables at Danube or Peter Lugars, I don't believe in political coincidences, and especially so when the "coincidence" follows gross ineptitude that bordered on the criminal and got close to 3,000 Americans killed.

You really do overestimate the authority of the FBI in such cases.

I don't think so. Field agents complaining that leads weren't followed up on by higher ups can only be laid in the Director's lap. As any NJ Soprano would tell ya', the fish stinks from the head.

The shorting of the American Airlines stock shows clearly that many people knew exactly what was about to go down. For whatever reason, mid level guys in Freeh's agency blew it badly and Freeh must pay. You can call that unfair, but I'll ascribe to JFK's observation regarding "fairness".

>>Former FBI Director Louis Freeh had agreed to become New Jersey's Homeland Security Director in 2002, but Gov. James McGreevey instead chose his unqualified boyfriend Golan Cipel for the post, a report unearthed Friday by national radio host Sean Hannity reveals.

>>While the mainstream press has yet to explore the explosive new angle in the McGreevey scandal...

On Hannity and Colmes today, this was described as one of
the MOST un-reported stories. The governor VETOED Freeh in
favor of his unqualified lover.

New Jersey citizens are NOT aware of this.
