The photo at right was displayed on the website of Boston Capital & Technology and shows Senator John Kerry on an outsourcing trade mission he led to China. The BCT website, as of this posting, has been removed from the internet. We've captured as much of the website as we could, but some images now appear as broken links. Captured on our hard drive, however, is the picture from the BCT website showing Senator John Kerry at a banquet in Beijing China during the outsourcing trade mission.
The BCT web site, presumably owned and operated by a Paul Marcus, head of Boston Capital & Technology could be found at http://www.us-china.com/ . For unexplained reasons, the BCT website is no longer available for viewing. But, we have captured most of it below. As of August 12, 2004 the site was also in Google cache and can be viewed here.

As other threads have indicated, this has become a battle of the alternate media, on the internet.
If Kerry's pulling up his blogs, looks like we have our boy on the run!

Good find. The RNC should have fun with this, or better yet, Club for Growth.

During the late 1990s, John Kerry traveled on a "U.S. trade mission to the People's Republic of China organized and sponsored by a private corporation." The Kerry trip to Beijing was topped off with a "banquet in Beijing's legendary Great Hall of the People." To prove the trip was a success, the Massachusetts-based firm of Boston Capital & Technology photographed Kerry in the Beijing Great Hall of the People.

...Sweet Deal Turns Sour
Through this Mission and dozens of other on the ground initiatives undertaken by BCT every year, BCT is able to advance their manufacturing projects in China, the projects of their partners and clients, and the position of dozens of other associated U.S. companies establishing positions throughout mainland China.
Johnny Chung with his beneficiary John Kerry
Kerry Took Cash From Chinese Military Intelligence
An example offered by Myers: "In 1996, Kerry met with Democratic contributor Johnny Chung and Chinese businesswoman Liu Chaoying. That day, Kerry's office faxed a letter to the SEC, and Chung and Liu got a private briefing. Kerry then thanks Chung for being willing 'to help with my campaign,' and within weeks, Chung hosts a Kerry fund-raiser. Kerry initially denied he'd even met Chung before the fund-raiser, then called the timing of the SEC meeting and the fund-raiser 'totally coincidental.'"
NBC News producer Robert Windrem wrote for MSNBC today that Kerry "unwittingly" tried to help "Chinese espionage agent and arms dealer" Liu "in return for campaign contributions."

I think the kerry photo has already been replaced by a photo of "China's largest foreign investor, the Wu family". is this the same wu family that got clinton-gore into so much trouble, perchance?

Great Find. Did you see the projects they did. Definately taking U.S. jobs. What was Kerry's involvement with this company? Why is he yelling about how bad outsourcing when he was making trips to China with BCT?

Not so fast...
Kerry pulled this because he's yapping (and lying) about changing the trade relationship between the US and PRC.
He's lying like crazy because union voters perceive PRC as a threat to their jobs--rightfully so. PRC's done a number on lots of them so far, and will take as much as our Foreign Trade Morons will let them have.\
On the other hand, the Bush Boyzzz' policy is NOT to change the relationship with PRC (albeit they've made some threatening noises about IP issues and slapped a couple of tariffs around...)
So what's Bush going to do? Point out that Kerry's policy is identical to Bush's? What votes will that get for BUSH?
