You asked me to ping you if I got a reply from Edwardsville Intelligencer about the kerry article (http://ice.he.net/~freepnet/kerry/graphics/Bryant_Park_1.jpg ). If I don't send you an update now, your post will soon be so far in the past, I'll never find it.

Still no reply from Edwardsville Intelligencer. I sent them another e-mail on Tuesday. I got another e-mail from WinterSoldier, that says it was an AP article. So I'm running off in that direction now.

I suspect the reason Edwardsville Intelligencer won't answer my e-mails is because it's true. If they never ran the article, they'd be very vocal about it.

Kerry met with North Vietnamese officials in Paris when on his honeymoon in the spring of 1970. [Excerpt] On July 22, 1971, Kerry called a press conference in Washington, D.C. speaking on behalf of the VVAW, kerry openly urged President Nixon the acccept Madame Binh's seven-point plan. [End Excerpt] Unfit for Command - pg 127 ________________ Kerry was transferred to Standby Reserve, "inactive" July 1, 1972

Sounds like a pretty clear-cut case of providing "aid and comfort" to me. Time to hang the lot of them.......Dangit! Where is my yardarm?

Why is there no justice for the 58,000 + names on the Viet Nam Wall?

Why is there no justice for to the millions,
who served with honor in Viet Nam?

When will the Right Wing Main Stream Media demand
that Hanoi Kerry apologize to the names on the Wall
And to Viet Nam Vets who served with honor?
Why are we still "war criminals" and Hanoi Kerry is a "hero"?
When will the GOP controlled Senate set the record straight?

US GOP controlled Senate

AND

Main Stream Right Wing Media

Hang your heads in shame!

When you wake up in the morning,
and look in the mirror,
before you go to the US Senate,
or to the TV or Radio studios,
know that you did nothing to remove this traitor.

Well REAL Americans know what you did NOT do!

U.S. Constitution Amendment XIV

Section 3. No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress,
or elector of President and Vice President,
or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States,
or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress,
or as an officer of the United States,
or as a member of any state legislature,
or as an executive or judicial officer of any state,
to support the Constitution of the United States,
shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same,
or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.
But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Haven't you heard that treason is passe? Treason, once upon a time, guaranteed the perpetrator a noose for his neck, but has somehow starting with Hanoi John become a guaranteed seat in the US Senate for his treasonus liberal ass.

Believe you me, I am NO fan of John McCain, but in no way can he be considered in the same light as Kerry for whatever information he gave up when he was a POW. NO WAY.

I read a book by a high ranking Vietnam POW (can't remember title) and he explained that it was never looked down upon that some could only stand the barest minimum of torture while others were able to literally die without ever spilling a single bean. That was that and no prisoner was ever chastised for breaking under the effects of torture - no matter at what level.

That's a darn sight different that Kerry, IMHO, who's behavior can be excused under NO circumstances.

AH, for the "old days" when traitors like Kerry, Kennedy, Boxer, et al., were put up against a wall and shot!

At the beginning of the Iraq war, when a number of US soldiers were being held captive, a former Army General on FOX News said that in no way would the military hold it against a soldier if the soldier cracked under the pressure of torture. He went on to say that the human body can only handle so much pain, and that it would be heartless to condemn such a soldier... when the true goal is to get the soldier back alive, no matter what happened while he was held in captivity.

McCain has not been honorable, either when he entered the military on the strength of his family connections and his subsequent behaviour.

His involvement with the Keating Five, his agandoning his long suffering wife for a younger richer model.

His joining with Kerry to undermine the search of MIA....

His constant undermining of this president.

His meeting with the likes of Kerry and now his connection to Helary Clinton.

Nixon was extremely worried about making him a martyr. There is evidence that the Watergate breakin was to tie the DNC to VVaw which was tied to violent and seditious acts. With the right kind of evidence, Nixon could have allowed the prosecution of Kerry, DNC officals and violent communists without tainting himself. The break in, Hillary Clinton and Dan Rather got in the way.
