TO: Republican National Committee Cc: Butler Co. Republican party Ohio Republican Party George W. Bush
Subject: Sitting this one out
As a conservative, I have become increasingly disappointed at the leftward drift of the Republican Party under the leadership of George W. Bush. His monetary and immigration policies are prime examples.
I have come to the conclusion that he is, quite simply, unacceptable. Furthermore, the overall position of the Republican Party is too far to the left to suit me.
The argument that "the other guy is worse" is invalid. There is now such an indiscernible difference between the Republican and Democrat parties that it would make little difference who won the election.
You have not put up a good candidate since Ronald Reagan. I have held my nose and voted in the last three elections, but I can't stomach it any more.
Therefore, this year, I will vote for no Republican candidates at the national, state or local level. If I find an acceptable conservative 3rd party, I will vote for them.
If we lose the election, so be it. My prayer is that a sound drubbing will slap some sense back into the Republican Party.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
C'mon, itch: you can at least answer that one, can't you...?
Look... I'll even make it simpler still for you:
Korean War Vets Are "Real" American War Veterans: _____ YES _____ NO
'Nam War Vets Are "Real" American War Veterans: _____ YES _____ NO
Desert Storm War Vets Are "Real" American War Veterans: _____ YES _____ NO
War On Terror Vets Are "Real" American War Veterans: _____ YES _____ NO
C'mon.
Don't be frightened.
I believe the lil' soldier missed the Rin-Tin-Tin photo.
SCOUTS OUT!!! CAVALRY HO!!!
You must have brain-freeze if you don;t think there is a WORLD-WIDE WAR going on. Or do you feel so safe and smug in Alaska?
SCOUTS OUT!!! CAVALRY HO!!!
Granted, I should have some compassion for someone who is a prime example of what can happen inside of a fast moving armored vehicle and not wearing a helmet...but I'll make an exception in your case.
Scouts in, helmets on.
My watch.
Actually, I did think, at the outset, Reagan would be one of our best presidents ever. I was more enthusiastic about he and his candidacy than about any president before or since. His lanslide election as well as some of his amazing personal traits and abilities were a big clue.
I remember the last world war, didn't ever hear about any new ones being declared. When did that happen?
Whoooooweeee...what a thorough reply. Thank you.
I am acknowledging the one genuinely sincere-seeming sentiment in your posting, and responding in kind. Thank you.
You realize, don't you, that you started all this
Awwwwww. And you were doing so well, too, right up until the outright lying started. Tsk.
That said, my opinion of you is even lower than my opinion of Chief Jerkson.
1.) ... and this means something to me (or should) because...? You're a proven liar; your spavined attempts at grammarial instruction reveal you to be either mongoloid (at best), or addicted to powerful hallucinogenics (at worst); and your patent, sneering lack of respect for this country's servicemen -- to say nothing of their Commander-in-Chief -- rivals anything to be found on the DU boards.
I'd sooner have the "respect" of Baghdad Bob, quite frankly. He's a good deal more amusing; lies less frequently... and, doubtless, was more of a credit to his chosen ranks, overall.
Granted, neither you nor I will ever teach English at the local college
How readily the ass brays its own manifest shortcomings... :)
well, I've fired all my ammo for now.
Ah. Hence the small puddle and the sour odor, then. No matter: we can always print up one of your postings and employ that for mopping-up purposes, as needed.
I'm thinking of two words. I think TaRAYza used them recently.
I believe the "little solider" most likely missed puberty... :)
'Night, Muffin. Daddy hopes you have the Soldier Dream again, tonight.
Hey doug, I like the tag line.
You would think that with those new self-changing diaper/pants that they wouldn't get so rashed and irritable. Unless they're too complicated for him to use.
His "watch."
Uh-huh. :)
On second thought, why. Keep it up.
