Thanks a whole bunch McCain and Feingold!

Thanks a whole bunch McCain and Feingold!

For months, we have heard liberal, left wing loonies rant about how poorly the war in Iraq and plan for peace that followed was going. Regardless of facts, this mantra by liberals and media elite was pushed on the public daily. I am sure you heard it, “They just didn’t plan for the peace.” Ridiculously, they expect American citizens to believe their spin. Not taking into account that most understand that war is not perfectly fought nor won and sadly, peace often comes with great sacrifice.

With that said, are you not curious, will we hear voices speak of the disastrous outcome that has come from the war to reform campaign finance? In addition, a question that deserves an answer, did anyone plan for the consequences of such legislation?

Just what has McCain-Feingold brought our nation? Did those who pushed this on America get what they planned for in this legislation? Did they plan for the consequences that would follow?

According to various reports George Soros, far-left wing, liberal activist, donated $18 million to many groups that supported campaign finance reform. His lobbying was extremely helpful in seeing legislation enacted. Now surprise, he has found a way to go around the very laws he pushed for in order to move forward his political wishes. Soros’ $5 million pledge to MoveOn.org. and upwards of $15.5 million spent thus far to oust President Bush has certainly shown many what money can do.

McCain-Feingold is proving to be disastrous in numerous ways. Perhaps, we should start our own mantra, “The campaign finance reformers just didn’t plan for the consequences.” And as the Average Joe is silenced during the last part of the campaign and the likes of a Soros is having its way, let’s hope the mantra gets louder.

By the way, have you noticed how sympathetic media elites have been to John F. Kerry over his injuries taken on behalf of McCain-Feingold? What a pity that one of their “Band of Brothers” has to take one for the troops. Perhaps, they can come up with something to combat the consequences. No doubt, they will try.

Whether they did or not, they now need to band together and beat the Dems or else it may be a while before the Republicans can get the White House back I am afraid...

John McCain, Kerry's little lapdog, brought us exactly what Kerry wanted him to bring us : he wrote that loophole into his so-called "legislation" that allowed all of these attack ads against President Bush funded by the likes of non-American Kerry's mentor Soros.

87% of all 527 attack ads have been paid for by....

DEMOCRATS

Coincidence? I think not.

Darn, could you format that into somprehensibility? It's like looking at one of those black and white, spiral optical illusions that appear to spin if you look at them too long.

I think the White House next press conference should include a chart of 527 money and who is giving it.

It's high time for McCain to step up to the plate and admit he made a mistake.

He needs to lead the charge to repeal the MF law!

Agreed, but he won't. His handlers like it too much.

Mike I am with you on this. If we allow the Dems and media to take this one without a fight - we are to blame for the consequences.

I wish that President Bush had used the veto pen. How different it would be today if he had.
