Thanks for the link.I see a LOT of sources for GIGANTIC trouble,in that lineup You're welcome for the link
Yep there is potential for big trouble .. I guess it depends on how the NYPD can keep them all in line
I remember the Police Chief in Philly got into some kind fight with protesters in 2000 and was hit in the face or something like that

"The centrepiece of a week of resistance will be a march on Madison Square Garden, where Bush will deliver a closing address after four days of Republican celebration. Organisers expect at least 250,000 people to march and newspapers have given dire accounts of potential anarchist disruption. One leaked police document warned that protest tactics might include fire bombs, acid throwing and attacks with nail-studded potatoes."
I hope if they do use these despicable tactics, the normal citizens in New York will rise to the occasion and help the NYPD crack some "Rat" heads.

MSM are probably debating how much to cover the riots, as you don't have to be to bright to figure these people aren't voting for Bush. Will Swing voters want to be aligned with these degenerates, probably not.

I'm surprised that Mailer emerged long enough from his 40 year old alcoholic fog to actually say something sensible. Then again, maybe he overheard the bartender say it just before he slid off his bar stool and landed face down in the spittoon.

Published in the New York Daily News on May 9, 1970 with the caption: "One man lands punch on face of antiwar demonstrator, sending his glasses flying. Demonstrator allegedly spat upon American flag as he stood at foot of Washington's statue."" That's one of those forgotten "peace" marches from the hippie era -- when the hardhats fought back.

Free For All Wet anti-Bush T-shirt Contest Billed as an all day protest event to be held on Sheep Meadow Pasture in Central Park.
Yeah, that sounds like a real high-minded protest...

The problem with these protests, as I see it, is that the protesters show no awareness that we are living in dangerous times, and that they are causing the police to expend needless energy corralling them when they should be looking out for bombs from al Queda. That shows Americans the total lack of common sense these people have and their egocentric messing with National security.Well, the thing is that they seem to believe that we really aren't in danger and that the whole war and all the alerts are just political mechanisms trotted out by the administration at whim.

The Republicans will do all they can to make the street protesters look like the disruptive, concealed and explosive heart of the Democratic party, warned Norman Mailer...Since that's what they are.

OMG.................I remember that,as if it were yesterday.

Heavily financed by Republican sympathisers close to Bush
Huh? $100,000 from Perry and the rest in donations from the public averaging $59 per donation. How much has Soros given to Moveon.org?

The Republicans will do all they can to make the street protesters look like the disruptive, concealed and explosive heart of the Democratic party, warned Norman Mailer Mailer has it almost right, but the street protesters anarchists are the explosive heart of the Democratic party. This is exactly what sKerry himself would've supported in Chicago's 1968 violent anti-war riots.
Tom Hayden is one of the organizers of this upcoming rioting in NYC. He was also tried, convicted and sentenced for crossing state lines to incite riots at the 1968 DNC convention. Remember the Chicago 7?
I heard a segment on Hannity's show last week where he spoke with about a half dozen different organizers of various of these "protester" groups coming to NYC. He asked each of them if they would publicly renounce acts of violence and tell their members that they do not condone any violence. To the man, every single one of these organizers refused.
It's my opinion that this is going to be major ugly.

Distribute a copy of Norman Podhoretz's World War IV written by a person familiar with the 1960's and the left. If they actually read it I suspect many would no longer participate in protest.

The NY Post today had an article saying the 1970's radical Weather Underground will be there. Most have been released from jail recently. One Bill Ayers is a professor curently working at the University of Chicago. Another, Brian Flanagan owns a bar in NYC.
