Well, I know who looked better in his uniform!! GW was a hottie, and is still a sexy middle age guy! Sure beats Lurch.
W is an attractive man....but he is also a man of character and integrity....that is what I love about him the most........

I guess it isn't cool to say that his father was ambassador to the UN and so if he had gone to Vietnam and been captured, it would have been a huge diplomatic crisis.

Actually, I think that kind of integrity and character tends to shine out in people, and when there's a lack of it, that shows, too. Some of the most hideous people I can think of are that way, at least to me, because of how rotten they are to the core. Even if someone has "defects" any inner beauty usually shines out. Even if someone is otherwise "attractive" that inner ugliness shines out, if they have it.
That's the difference between the President and the man who can't begin to measure up to him; the difference between Anne Coulter and let's just say, Julia Roberts for instance.
Not quite what I had in mind but I'm glad it makes you ladies happy.
Can't really say that cause McCain's father was a bigwig too....in the military....so it doesn't really hold water.

Didn't W volunteer to fly in Vietnam? I thought I remembered something about not having enough hours in the cockpit to qualify for combat.
McCains dad was a big wig but his rise to military stardom came after John was already captured and a p.o.w.
And McClain was exploited because of it. What years was McClain a POW? and what was his father's rank. It's a huge difference between being a high ranking military guy and the Ambassador to the UN.
