Man Charged With Forging Voter Registration Forms
7 News Denver ^

DENVER -- Forgery charges have been filed against an Aurora man accused of submitting 48 false voter registration forms to state officials.

John Samuel MaCarthy, 27, faces four counts of forgery and one count of procuring false registration.

He's accused of submitting fake registration forms for people in Arapahoe, Jefferson and Denver counties while working for a voter registration collection business known as Choose 2 Vote. He had forged voter registration documents or falsely registered residents with the intent to defraud his Lakewood employer, said Attorney General Ken Salazar.

The 48 false registrations occurred between April 19 and April 22 and were discovered during the course of the investigation -- before they were ever filed with election authorities.

Investigators say neither the employer nor the people whose names were on the forms were aware of his activities.

No primary election races were affected.

MaCarthy is currently in Denver County Jail on unrelated charges.

The investigation was launched after clerks questioned forms listing nonexistent addresses, and others with similar signatures. They turned over 59 allegedly false registration documents.

The multi-jurisdiction investigation continues concerning a limited number of additional allegedly false Denver and Arapahoe County registration documents, and a small number of Adams County registration documents, the attorney general's office said.

The forgery charges could bring up to three years in prison and a $100,000 fine. Procuring false registration is a misdemeanor.

Easy-peasy! The neocommunist, ultra-left media will determine that, if McCarthy is a Republican, this is a story the goes all the way up to the White House and demands extensive public scrutiny and examiniation. If he is a dem, then we shoulld put this behind us and move on.

Since the news channel never mentions the party he worked for, its definitely the Democratic Party. If he was working for the Republican Party, it would have been mentioned in every sentence.

It's so pathetic that the news station doesn't even say he was a Democrat. As if it isn't relevant to the story.

I've heard twice now that there are 46,000 people who are registered (and have voted) in BOTH New York and Florida. It was a headline in (I think) the NY Post in the last day or two. They voted something like 88% Democrat and 12% Pubbie. This has got to be stopped NOW!!! 40,480 extra Democrat votes (86% of 46M) could swing the Florida vote over to the dark side.

Here is how the bias media uses voter fraud against Republicans. Only Republicans are used as examples for voter fraud in the story.

helicopters would be flying over our homes telling us what a horrible stunt W is pulling on us.

Do black helicopters speak in Ebonics?

Seriously, this "choose2vote" outfit looks pretty sleazy. More information about them here, near the top of the page. And the web site "http://www.choose2vote.org" is borken. Looks like they "work" for the highest bidder, not necessarily by political persuasion.

"MaCarthy is currently in Denver County Jail on unrelated charges"

Just a hunch, but I don't think this is your standard RAT fraud operative, just your garden variety crook out to make a fast buck. Now, I MIGHT question the motive of the one who enlisted him to obtain these "votes." I'm guessing the guy was paid by the head.

One of the biggest reasons that the scumbags are desperate to get rid of Bush is because they know that if Bush gets another four years - - and stays in charge of Justice and the FBI - - the jig is up for them as far as vote fraud and campaign-fund laundering schemes are concerned.

Of course, the other big reason is that there will finally be some Supreme Court retirements. Add to that another four years of Bush appointing honest judges who respect the US Constitution and it is easy to see why the scumbag Democrats are gasping for air and wild-eyed with hate. They are sure they are dying.

A Bush reelection will absolutely kill them.
A Bush reelection is essential to the successful future of this nation.

Who do you think? From the Rocky Mountain News (http://rockymountainnews.com/drmn/election/article/0,1299,DRMN_36_3127256,00.html): "Lee hired numerous petition circulators in Colorado, including MaCarthy, and paid them $3 for every Democratic and unaffiliated voter they registered."

That is so blatantly true. My boss and I were talking about this at work. The McGreevey thing in NJ didn't mention he was a D until the last paragraph and we both agreed had he been a Pubbie it would have been mentioned in every sentence.

Anyone, Democrat or Republican, who does this, either personally voting twice, or does fraudulent registering, should be convicted of a felony and jailed.

Of course, since 88% of them are Dems, the Republican majorities in the House and Senate would probably increase by 10%.

The group he was working for is another of the Dem front groups. And can you imagine the outrage if the line about him already being in jail on an unrelated charge were said about a Republican?

Of course he had to be a democrat signing up more fake democrats.

The writer would have made mention of republican in every paragraph if possible.

The media is in dire straits. Either they will have to admit that he is a Democrat or agree that yes there are black Republicans.
