Last night while making dinner, my wife and I started cracking each other up with new Heinz Ketchup slogans. You know the cute ones like "Meatloaf Enhancer", or "Hides Grill Marks".
Ours were more like -
"Tastes Great on Waffles", "Better Dead than Red", "Greases the Wheels", "Served in Vietnam", "Not Affiliated with MoveOn.org"
Plus they all fit on Avery labels, not that I would reccomend making a bunch of them and going to your local grocery......

You have old ketchup. We haven't gotten those in about 2 months. My kids refuse to eat if they don't have Heinz ketchup.

Please be kind --- First time poster to FreeRepublic. The Heinz Corporation has had no affiliation with the Heinz family members for well over a decade. The family does not run the corporation. In fact the corporation has given money to Bush.
Mindless boycotts we have enough of here.

What you say is true, but who said anything about a boycott of Heinz? He was a good Republican from Pennsylvania.

I said nothing about a boycott, maybe an opportunity for "guerilla marketing" but not a boycott.
And I loved the stickers that Penn and Teller put in their "Play with your food" book, too. Mmmm, inspiration.
To: SoothingDave
Peace - Illuminatas is just having a laugh here. No mention of a boycott anywhere above.
