Lawrence O'Donnell of MSNBC Has Lost His Mind

Posted on 08/24/2004 7:37:03 PM PDT by onyx eyes

On MSNBC tonight, Lawrence O'Donnell, political commentator for MSNBC, sounds like he knows what he is talking about, yet, his arguments in defense of John Kerry, are so asinine and untrue, I could hardly believe my ears.

They're going to keep on until they movie themselves out of reality -- oops already done that.
Tom Clancy, IF we could get him, would, as you said, stop them dead in their tracks...Oh, I dream...

"It's all lies" is the talking point of the year for the rats, who should know a lie when they hear one, since they speak them so often!

I heard that same thing from Wolf Blitzer Sunday as a teaser.... "Is Bob Dole getting mean again....?"

They must have all gotten the DNC memo.

Don't count on Tom Clancy - he would probably go to bat for Kerry. Such a pompous man. He could have assisted the U.S. in defending against terrorist efforts - he refused to use his experience to assist our government in identifying possible scenarios.

He came across really bad on H&C trying to impress with how very superior intellectually he was.

All Tom Clancy is, is a detail-oriented ex-insurance clerk or something along those lines. I don't think he is as smart as he pretends. I saw him on C-Span, dont remember what the show was about, but, like you, was not impressed. I dont think he could have helped the gov. very much, he writes in a linear fashion which means he only knows what he places straight out before him.

Oh, I should have also said, the reason I had first agreed on Clancy as a help to us, was when thinking of him writing for our side. But when you reminded me, I knew better.

Such a pity - he could have been effective but you might be right - only effective when all in front of him.

O'donnell has been bonkers now for a couple of months. hardball was broadcasting from the beach not too long ago -- I forget the occasion -- and he was well and truly off his meds.

My unsubstantiated feeling is that the station has him on a short leash. That might have started around the time he was interviewing demonstrators, in a non-liberal way, outside the convention center in Boston.

"I remember O'Donnell from way back, and he used to do a much better job of hiding his scorn and bias. I USED to think he was pretty savvy, politically, although he leaned the wrong way. It's possible to respect someone's political SKILL, while disagreeing with them. I was sorely disappointed in his political astuteness tonight. He seems on the verge of putting his thumbs in his ears and sticking his tongue out at his opponents"

I too, have noticed some of the more fair-minded liberals (who at least were somewhat rational and/or honest in their evaluations) have become Kerry shills. O'Donnell, Susan Estrich and Doug Brinkley have all gone over the edge. If Kerry loses this election, it will be hard for us conservatives to ever think these pundants are truly legitimate again (it's all about winning with them).
