Fantastic!!!
Matthews often appears to be on the brink of hysteria and he doesn't interview he interrogates.

I can't watch Chris anymore. His treatment of Malkin was inexcusable. It was intellectually dishonest, rude, and not least important, factually wrong.
And Anne's got O'Reilly pegged here, too.

Wow is that a great slam against O'Reilly.
The most painful slams are the ones that are written beautifully and backed up by fact. I almost spit coffee on the keyboard with her Hilter death camps vs. Warsaw uprising comparison.
It almost makes me feel bad for him...then I realize he is a pompus ass who needs to be brought down often.

Of course, the 14 in Kerry's camp are not necessarily lying, being bribed, or hoping for a position in the Kerry administration... Another possibility is a worry that their own medals, which were awarded based on kerry's recommendations, could be subjected to scrunity if kerry's service gets discredited to any significant extent. To me, that would be a pretty strong incentive to stick with the boss's story.

Oh Ann, Ann, Ann... Where for art thou?
I think that Ann Coulter and David Horowitz should get their genes together and make some future Americans.
If David's not available, I will sacrifice my time and ... er, resources, to the task.

I firmly believe half of this country is either mentally ill or is lucky to have the IQ of a moron.
The swift boat heros versus "gattling gun mouth" Mathews and the rest of the Democrat shills should be no contest.
The illiteracy and decay that brought about the fall of the Roman Empire has obviously infested 21st century America.

I found the exchange below particularly amusing:
"O'Neill's contribution to a discussion about his own book consisted mostly of meaningless sentence fragments:
O'Neill: I don't believe that ... (MATTHEWS INTERRUPTION)
O'Neill: Well, I'm not here to ... (MATTHEWS INTERRUPTION)
O'Neill: I think he is millions of steps behind, because he went over ... (MATTHEWS INTERRUPTION)
O'Neill: His first Purple ... (MATTHEWS INTERRUPTION)
O'Neill: Well, the first ... (MATTHEWS INTERRUPTION)
O'Neill: You're right. I'm saying ... (MATTHEWS INTERRUPTION)
O'Neill: Well, wait just a second. What you've done is ... (MATTHEWS INTERRUPTION)
O'Neill: First of all ... (MATTHEWS INTERRUPTION)
Finally, O'Neill proposed that he be allowed to answer questions and Matthews erupted with an indignant speech notable mostly for being slightly longer than anything O'Neill ever got to say:
Matthews: "One of the oldest tricks on this show is for somebody to come on the show after talking for 20 minutes and say they haven't had the chance to talk. I'll be glad to clock you, John, on how many minutes you spoke on the show. So don't try that old trick. It is a particularly conservative trick, OK? So let's move on here."

"Let's review the transcript!
"Total words by book author John O'Neill: approximately 1,150. (Complete sentences devoid of Matthews interruptions: about 2.)
"Total words by paid Kerry flack Hurley: approximately 950.
"Total words by Matthews, excluding host prattle ('Welcome back to GOOFball!'): approximately 2,290.
So you'd be "glad to clock" John O'Neill, huh Chrissy?
I'm sure that if Ann had run the clock, Matthews and Hurley would still have a big advantage. If I can still count, the word count went as follows:
*Kerry campaign == 3,240 words.
*O'Neill/Swift Boat == 1,150 words.
(That's almost a ratio of 3 to 1 for the Kerry campaign.)
"Conservative trick", my a$$$$$$$$$$$$$!
By the way, I'd be glad to clock YOU, Matthews, in the purely colloquial sense of the word.
Ann Coulter nails it yet again. Brains and beauty combined. Wow.

... Matthews accused O'Neill of being a Republican operative and demanded that O'Neill detail for "Hardball's" six remaining viewers his voting history ...Six? They have that many? Gotta love Ms. Coulter!

The O'Reilly method of analysis works well about once a century. The last time was when Hitler invaded Russia in 1941. Man, she is good. Really good.

Whenever I read Coulter, I can see once more why Andrew Sullivan is so jealous of her. She is not a poseur like Sullivan, but an incredibly witty and logical polemicist. She is the Dorothy Parker Sullivan would love to be. He is the David Broder she is too authentic to be.
