Not only are this guy's wheels coming off, they are being replaced, systematically, with square ones just for good measure.

Both may uncles were career Army and Marines... mutiple tours in VietNam...Drill Instructors... Father was active Army (Korea) and then National Guard for ~30 years total.
I give my whole-hearted thanks to those who did something I can't even imagine doing. I was very close to the age and time where I may have been called. In fact, I do remember getting a number.. just can't recall any details.

These guys certainly do come off as real, everyday, and honest, unlike John Kerry.
I've donated to them once, and am going to do so again.
This great ad accomplishes several things in a very short space of time. Among them is that it dispels the notion that the SwiftVets "didn't serve with Kerry"...Mr. Gardner mentions at the outset that he served with Kerry longer than anyone else...powerful, essential stuff, as well as the sledgehammer word "lie" which was absolutely delightful to hear in conjunction with Kerry.
I hope that the Kerry minions do indeed take the SwiftVets to court over all this, which Mr. O'Neill has been begging for.

We all know how Kerry (or the Democrats' beloved mannequin Al Gore) would have handled 9/11...He'd have issued an abject apology to the Muslim world and promised to work toward a better understanding of why they hate us and how- with the help of the U.N.- we can change to please them.

527s will not become illegal 60 days in advance of election. Ben Ginsburg, being interviewed last night about his resignation from the Bush election, just stated that this group, in no way loses the right to speak and be heard because they have no formal incorporation. They are just a bunch of people who under the IRS rules (till McCain shuts the door on that rule and Ginsburg stated could not be done before Nov. 2) Ben Ginsburg is one of the most brilliant legal minds today!
You are confused about that. There are NO time restrictions on 527s not funded with corporate or union money.
CFR has done almost NOTHING. It imposes minor, trivial limits on the parties, unions and corporations. Limits easily evaded.
We will get to see a whole slew of new ads from 527s in the months to come.
