Watching and hearing them sing the national anthem is something I'm going to remember for a while, especially coming as it did, during these Olympics given the current state of things in the world. That was just a great touch. Those women made my day with that.
Apparently, a lot of the US athletes have gotten lectures about toning down the patriotism this year.
I'd like to see every US gold medalist from here on out, including our basketball team, sing the anthem LOUD!.
You don't know the game, obviously. Try watching the players without the ball in their hand sometime. You'd be amazed how physical the game is.
