THE FROZEN TUNDRA OF... LAMBERT FIELD? [08/26 08:05 PM]

Steve Chaggaris of CBS News reports:

On Wednesday, Kerry made his third visit to Green Bay, Wis., this year and made it a point to focus on the main thing the city revolves around: football and the Green Bay Packers... As he was taking questions from the audience, he referred to the legendary Packers stadium, Lambeau Field (which has been called that for 39 years) as "Lambert Field."

On Wisconsin! Next stop...Michigan.

It would make a great Southwest Airlines "Wanna get away?" commercial.

This has come up several times.
It's a Freudian slip.

R.E. Lambert was listed as the witness on that
apparently falsified recommendation that Kerry wrote up
for Thurlow's Bronze Star. Lambert was also recommended
for a Bronze by Kerry in that same action.

The Kerry Kamp has apparently been in recent contact
with Lambert.

Lambert is on his mind.

Lambert Field? That's the St. Louis airport, just a few miles from my house.

Are you doubting John Kerry? WERE YOU IN VIETNAM???

I honestly don't think that Kerry is too bright. Once again, he is either too arrogant to be briefed before the stops or is too dumb to remember.

Lambert is the name of the witness on Kerrys Bronze Star citation from March 13, the one who saw all the enemy bullets flying. Lambert just wrote a piece supporting Kerry, although he didn't offer any new detail.

He's been there, done that, said "Go Buckeyes!" Perhaps he should just stay in the blue states, so as to not get any more confused.

He's not.
But neither is anybody who thinks this is gonna help Dubya win Wisconsin.

Actually, I just realized this is over a day old, so yes, I would hope fellow freepers have been all over it. And still, Freudian slip or not - think of what the reaction would be had this been GW? And of all the things to screw up in Wisconsin, this is not it if you want votes.

He'll kiss it goodbye again on the morning of Nov. 3 along with his chances at the Presidency.

Oh, Come ON, everybody! This is just an understandable mis-statement from the new JFK, who is just so French looking, you can't argue!

Besides, it's not like George Bush said it, we ALL know about HIM...

When is the press going to ask Kerry to name the prime minister of Zanwadu?

Bush lost Wisconsin by less than 6,000 votes in 2000.

Kerry did the same thing in Michigan or Ohio during the primaries. Something about screwing up a comment about their football team.
