From the article:

Senator John Edwards, the Democratic vice-presidential candidate, said yesterday: "After months of listening to the Republicans base their campaign on their singular ability to win the war on terror, the president now says we can't win the war on terrorism."

Democrats are too stupid to realize that terrorism is going to be with us until the end of time; the only way to "win" is to keep fighting.

That being said, I'd love to hear their "plan" to win the war on terrorism.

So Kerry isn't the only one who flip-flops?

This is analogous to having some sort of roach infestation in your house. You can be sure you’ve killed them all, but they’ll always be a threat you need to keep on top off. Bush will get the house tented and take the hurt to them; Kerry will put out some humane traps and hope they leave us alone.

Mr. Edwards...it is YOUR side kick who is the flip flipping idjit...and ALL of America KNOWS what the message was in GW's declaration on winning a war "against terrorism"...BUT while you are busy ignoring your falling numbers, lousy running mate and messageless campaign we invite you to CONTINUE to harp on GW's words all the while you ignore the inconsistencies in your own party's race for the WH...

Methinks Mr. Edwards is another victim of Bush "strategery." They try to capitalize on a gaffe, and in the end they just end up digging an even deeper hole for themselves. Makes me almost wonder if President Bush does this on purpose, knowing he's setting a trap.

I wonder when Edwards will be corrected for daring to be so warlike?

Are the antiwar maggots in the streets of NYC aware of Edwards's warlike stand?

Won?

Yeah right...

I don't believe that for one minute.

UNLESS we are going to go to war with Islam???

Then we will win this war.

But Phil Donnahue says it can't be won: http://www.preventivewarriors.com/

How familiar. Watching those brave American wives last night who spoke at the convention, I have no doubt we will win. They're not going to rest until we do whatever it takes.

North Korea... due to national sovereignty and the existence of China, all that can be (or should be) done there is to blockade that fake country to facilitate its inevitable collapse. But, as GWB said, there will always be the risk of terrorist activity, such as in the Phillipines or in Columbia.
George W. Bush will be reelected by a margin of at least ten per cent
